Long Overdue, Review Brought (towed) our 97 high milage Miata here with a broke Timing Belt, Chris very knowledgeable on everything automotive specialized in Miata. We did timing Belt, Water Pump, Water Seals, Oil Seals, All new water Hoses, Thermostat, Crank sensor, Plugs, Fresh Oil and Filter, New Coolant, and an all-wheel Alignment. 1.5 years later everything still perfect. Issues or Modes only place to go !
View on GoogleAwesome experience here. I brought in my 2016 Miata that was having highway stability issues which had been misdiagnosed multiple times from a shop near me. I had heard great things but was hesitant to drive 45 minutes away for a shop. After finally giving them a chance, I won’t be taking my Miata anywhere else. Chris took the time to go on a test drive with myself present so he could be sure he was feeling the same issues that I was complaining about and within the day was able to diagnose damaged rear knuckle bushings. They ordered solid aftermarket parts through White Line and had my car fixed up within a week at a reasonable price. No more highway shimmies or feeling like I was getting hit by a tornado of wind. Awesome experience overall!
View on GoogleMy Miata had strange noise when I operated the clutch pedal, so they replaced the clutch components (main issue was the pilot bearing). They were honest and transparent, and the price was reasonable. I would definitely come back here again when I need a major repair.
View on GoogleJust back from my first visit to Immortan with by 2010 Miata Touring. Just bought the car in October and am new to Miatas. I had some concerns about the rear suspension, the battery and the alternator. Chris took it for a test ride, checked the battery and alternator, put it up on the lift and said every thing was fine. He invited me to see the underbody while it was on the lift. Super clean. This car has never seen salt! Kasia looked up the Carfax and said they recommend changing the transmission and differential fluids every 10 years, so we did that. Chris later said it was a good call because there was a lot of junk in the old fluid. Really happy with this shop and team. I think they knowledgeable and trustworthy. Even though they are a hour from my house, when this Miata needs a check -up or oil change I will be going back!
View on GoogleImmortan is great. Could probably assemble an entire car out of dust. They did a full D-16 turbo build on my '91 civic. Came into the shop plenty of times during the build and they broke every step down in detail and we worked together on precisely what I wanted from my car. 100% transparency the whole way through and answered any questions I had in a way I could easily understand. That being said it turned out exactly as I had dreamed. Will be coming back for any updates/maintenance! Thanks again Immortan.
