Going to the mechanic is one of my most dreaded experiences. That is, until I went to Nick’s. From setting up an appointment through post-repair pickup, Nick’s Auto Repair’s customer service was one of the most outstanding I’ve seen. From the start, the warmth conveyed over the phone and at drop off made me feel secure that my car was in good hands. I was further impressed by how efficient they worked, fixing my vehicle within three hours of taking it in (including diagnostic time). That in itself would have been enough to leave a great review, but Nick’s then went above and beyond in showing how kind, trustworthy, and ethical they are: since my repair was so simple, they did it for free. I know nothing about cars and could have very easily shelled out hundreds for a repair being none the wiser, but it’s clear that that’s not the kind of business that Nick’s Auto Repair is. If you’re looking for an affordable, trustworthy, and efficient place to repair your vehicle, go to Nick’s. It’s the best.

Great experience visitin' Nick's Auto Repair!!! Visited Nick's office to have a Rear Windshield Wiper problem inspected, he 1stly checked both fuses to figure out whether either had blown(!?!); Next he went back into his office Troubleshootin' the issue on Computer to figure out if we had a Switch(?) or Motor(?) Malfunction, was late in the evenin' so promised to return next day to further investigate & hopefully resolve this fault(!??)... Returned next afternoon and gave him my 2006 Lincoln Navigator for approx 5 mins where he realized the Rear Tailgate Window bein' slightly open/ajar was the simple cause of the problem!!?! I offered to pay him for his Time & Expertise but he exhibited too much Modesty, Honesty & Integrity to take money he surely deserved havin' truly earned it by resolvin' my Rear Window Wiper problem... will Definitely go back in future for any Future Repairs & will also recommend him to anyone else who might require a 1st Class Car Mechanic!! I could not recommend Nick’s Auto enough. I’ve had my fair share of negative mechanic experiences, from misdiagnoses to being overcharged. I’m in college, and as anyone who has been in school knows, money isn’t exactly plentiful. I took my car to Nick’s after hearing a knocking noise coming from underneath it. It turned out to just be a loose bolt on my driveshaft, which had been replaced a few months ago. The crew at Nick’s was honest and wouldn’t charge me a dime, even when I tried to pay. I greatly appreciate their honesty and will be sure to recommend this place to my local friends. If you have any car troubles in the Wixom area, be sure to stop in at Nick’s.

Took my car to Nick’s Auto Repair for a noise under the hood. Nick identified it as a possible catalytic converter issue and told me it should be covered under the federal 80,000-mile emissions warranty, recommended I go to the dealership instead of charging me. The dealership pushed back at first, but once I mentioned the warranty (just like Nick said), they fixed it completely free. Really appreciate Nick’s honesty and guidance. Highly recommend him.
