Westland Car Care Towing

My experience with them has always been through AAA and I have to say that every time I have dealt with them it has been just an overall great experience. They have always been quick to respond to my AAA service requests. The dispatcher has always asked all the right questions and the guys who have come out are always professional and courteous. This most recent occasion was due to the transmission in my daily driver going out and I had to have it towed from The Corner of 5 Mile and Beech Daly in Redford MI all the way down to Telegraph and Wick RD in Taylor MI. I just wish I could recall the driver's name so I could give him a shout out as well for his stellar service.

Title: Extremely unprofessional service and damage to my vehicle I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any towing company. My car was stuck in the snow, and while I was already waiting for roadside assistance with a 120‑minute ETA, the police arrived and arranged for Westland Car Care to move my vehicle since it was blocking the road. When the tow truck driver arrived, he asked for my keys. I assumed this was for towing purposes — instead, he got into my car and started driving it himself. I was not informed that he planned to drive my vehicle, and only later realized he did this because his tow truck also got stuck in the snow. He then drove my car at high speed uphill, got stuck again, and backed up quickly — hitting his own tow truck and damaging the rear end of my car. The police officer on scene witnessed this and filed a report. The driver admitted responsibility at the time and told me that the company would handle the damage. However, when I tried contacting the company afterward, I was repeatedly told they would “call the next day.” No one contacted me for four days. When I called back, the person who answered was extremely rude and told me that they were “not responsible” and that I should handle it myself. The manager then repeated the same message despite the incident being witnessed and documented. I have never dealt with a company this unprofessional, unresponsive, or unwilling to take responsibility for damage caused by their own employee. I would strongly advise others to use caution before trusting them with your vehicle.

My teenage son hit a pothole and blew out his tire. I had a spare so i call my AAA, they sent me a guy that took an hour to get there. Got there tried for literally MAYBE 5 minutes not even. Said he couldn't get the lug nuts off, i need to call for a differet service he couldn't help and left. So AAA sent me Westland Car Care for a tow, they got there in 20 minutes and he decided to try to change the tire... this saint got it dont in 10mins!!! The guy was so nice and made our night!! Thank you Westland Care Care, keep up the great service!!

Today One of your drivers picked up my vehicle from Ameristar Auto Outfitters on Ford rd in Westlandy husband was there to follow the tow truck home at 8824 Ironwood Dr Van IBuren Township MI. I am home sick with pneumonia. Despite my husband's to put my vehicle in driveway or in the community parking lot, this driver was rude and drop my vehicle in the middle of the street, blocking, my driveway and portion of my neighbor's driveway. It is also partially blocking the street where it makes it difficult to drive down the street putting the car at of being hit by on coming traffic and took off leaving my vehicle in the street. Is this what you call service Before I post any negative reviews for this situation, I wanted to afford your company an opportunity to make things right I can provide photos if you would like. Please advise how this is to be rectafied. Lastly your driver was extremely rude, disrespectful and condescending with my husband who is in his 80's. What happened to show your elders respect?

When Mike got there, it was such an absolute relief! A great guy, extremely careful with our vehicle that had it's driver rear wheel assembly( front shock and all) blown out of the unibody, kept us entertained and happy the entire ride back home, after waiting for a bit it was definitely a fine tow job and an excellent driver. keep it up Ya'll!
