Brought my truck in for a starter. They did the job quickly and thoroughly for a reasonable price, didn't try to upsell me anything. Also have been here to get tires plugged and to have a leak looked at. They didn't fix the leak, told me to take it back to where I had the axle replaced because that's where it was leaking from. They could have just done the work and charged me again, I'd have not known it was related. Good place.
View on GoogleDO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE NEAR YOUR AUTOMOBILE... I wouldn't let these people work on a lawn mower.... My best friend had her 2020 ford fusion serviced at motown auto on Ford rd the 25th of September. Went in for spark plugs to be changed, she has a 4 cylinder engine. Was charged 250 dollars.( For context this auto shop was the same place to do her previous tune up last time.) Left the 25th being told hassan couldn't finish the work because he couldn't pull the "remaining" plugs out as they "wouldn't come out" "I sprayed wd40 on it and it still wouldn't come out" can you come back another day. She came back the next day and then he continued working. He got 3 out of 4 plugs changed. He came back out of garage and said can you come back another day bc the 4th plug was stripped. She left that day and engine light on, no acceleration. We plugged in a obd2 reader and found misfire on 2 and 3 and insufficient fuel injection and random misfire errors. She told the other employee as hassan wasn't there that she wanted a refund and he said no refund she can have her old plugs back. She contested thru her credit union and they did a three way call with an agent, hassan said she can have parts back but no refund. Her car is not drivable. We called up there today and they again said no refund. Please beware they take advantage of single moms who are trying to have a daily driver that's safe.
View on GoogleHi...I took my car to Motown Auto in Westland today (8/11). Terry was the one who did rear brake pads. He is so nice and kind. This place has been my go to for auto repairs. The men there are professional, and do a good job. I would definitely recommend Motown Auto to anyone looking for a reputable place for car repair!!

View on GoogleTerrible. Went to get spark plugs changed. Charged me $250 paid day 1. had to go back THREE DIFFERENT times and still didn’t complete the job. Actually made my car WORSE. Hassan told me he’d put my old parts back in and charge for labor when I asked for my money back. HOW DO I KNOW THOSE ARE MY ORIGINAL PARTS ? Hell no, will never go back here again.
