I was looking on FB for a shop to fix my Chevy 5.3l with the known lifter failure at 152k miles. Doug responded to my question and subsequently walked me in detail through the required repair with a detailed cost breakdown. He also made me aware of issues he might run into (e.g., camshaft) and the associated additional costs. I had the truck towed to him and he got right to work. He kept me up to date with pictures and videos of the issue and turned the truck around in 10 days. I especially liked that Doug doesn't treat you like a "dummy customer" like some shops and had no issues answering my many questions. So far over 1,000 miles on the engine and everything works as it should.

Doug was great. He worked around the autorama to get my exhaust fixed. He did a great job explained everything he did explained why it would have went bad so soon. He just takes the time and explains everything so you can understand what's going on. And I also got a free keychain that I can scan it on the back and it will show us all the work that he does for the cars on auto-rama and the things he does in a shop. He's just an amazing man. I recommend him 1,000% and I've been to a lot of shops. This one will never be beat thanks again Doug. You are awesome!

Doug has been great with the whole process of fixing my car. he's thorough and made sure to really explain to me what was going on and his plan to fix it. I was given a an estimate over the phone and before I was even able to bring my car in the he ordered the part so i didn't have to wait. Tier 1 has done a bunch of work on my GTR including suspension & clutch upgrades and they will be handling the engine rebuild happening this spring. Their pricing has always been fair especially considering the quality of the work. Doug stands by the shops work and takes the utmost care of your vehicle.... there is a good reason I take my car 35 miles to his shop.
