I highly recommend Dealer Alternative! After being quoted $3,200 by a dealership, I decided to get a second opinion and was referred to Dealer Alternative. The owner, Dan was quick to diagnose the issue and took the time to physically show me the problem, explain how it likely happened, and walk me through the next steps to get my car repaired. What really stood out was his knowledge, honesty, and advocacy. Dan and his team discovered that a bolt was likely accidentally dropped during recent recall work completed by the dealership, which caused a hole in the transmission case and led to the leak. Dan went above and beyond by advocating for the dealership to cover the repair costs. My car is now back in working order, and I’m extremely grateful for the experience. I would absolutely recommend Dealer Alternative to anyone looking for trustworthy auto repair!

This is the best shop around. Don’t waste your time with other shops. I drive an hour to get my car serviced by Dan because he’s the only guy who doesn’t try to get me for pointless repairs. Their work is clean and efficient. Every time I’ve picked my car up they always patch up anything that needs it. Just grabbed my car from the shop and they replaced my missing brake fluid cap which another shop forgot to put back on. They also replaced some old tape I had on some of my hoses. Great place.
View on GoogleThis is the only shop I’ll take my car to. Dan and his team are extremely dependable, honest, and fair. I’ve never had to pay for anything I didn’t need unlike other shops I’ve been to. The dealership quoted me $3000 to fix an oil leak because they said I needed to replace the whole turbo. Dan fixed the leak for under $200 and did not have to replace the turbo. I genuinely cannot recommend this shop enough for anyone needing a repair. He doesn’t take advantage of people who may be more naïve when it comes to repairs, which is something I’ve had to deal with at other shops around.

He is honest, kind, helpful and above all, he and his mechanics do a great job on auto repairs with a reasonable & fair price. Dan goes out of his way to make sure his clients know exactly what repairs were completed, which is what he did in the picture that I’ve included. I’m really glad I’ve finally found a mechanic that I can totally trust in the area!
