I would highly recommend. Had a trans leak and have Carshield car warranty. Certified is the only place out if seven shops I called that work with them. Dropped my truck off Monday after work and they called me before 9 am the next day. They had already looked at my truck, determined the issue and were ordering the part (rusted trans pan that wasn't covered by carsheild) called back had my truck repaired by 10 am Wed. When Joe called to let the know my truck was ready, advised me of a couple potential future issues but they didn't need to be addressed now. Certified was easy to work with, honest and very reasonably prices.

I don't typically take my stuff to shops these days, I trusted the guys at certified based on a neighbors claim and I'm happy I did. They do good work at a reasonable price - that's a tough combo to find.

OK, so first off Joe the guy was nice, but I came in there with the code showing it was my torque converter. They said their code popped that it was the control modulator my transmission which for my 2009 Ford F150 was a hard part to find so I just spent $1000 on a doorman control modular they put in which didn’t fix the problem which they said it was so then from there, we went back to the torque converter Which he said it’s that or the transmission I have 140,000 miles in my truck and I’ve had no transmission issues. There is no slippers or anything he put in the torque converter told me I would get the core charge back for that which he never gave me he kept and then called me and said that didn’t work so that they found an old housing unit or something for the R 80 transmission that they installed for free and that should work. It’s kind of a Band-Aid cause he was trying to sell me a transmission which like I said there was no slipping or side of transmission wear. He didn’t charge me labor for putting in that thousand dollar part I bought, but I can’t return it because it was electronic so I got my truck back a day ago. It was shifted a little funky and then today it went back to lip load and the check engine lights on and the transmission is slipping. … Nice guys, but this is your job you’re a transmission place. You’re supposed to know what’s wrong I ended up spending $3000 there and got nothing fixed in my truck was there for 10 days he was trying to sell me a $4000 transmission which I took it to another shop and you can get a brand new transmission the R 80 for $3000 point in fact their job is supposed to know what’s wrong with your vehicle and they didn’t know shit. They kept saying it was this and that this and now my transmission actually is grinding and having issues one before there was no transmission issues code came up just for a torque converter and then once they said no to that and rip my transmission apart and put the new control modulator in there then they said it was the torque converter and then they did that so that didn’t work so I’m about $3000 and I still really don’t know what the issue is but from the sound of it now it sounds like I’m gonna need a transmission place like that you’d expect them to know what’s wrong and eat the labor for their mistakes and make it right. I’m about $3000. I have to go to another shop and and have an actual professional diagnose it properly.

Replaced my ailing transmission with excellent results. My car shifts perfectly again. Very fast, courteous service. They were able to handle my complicated Cadillac XTS AWD V-Sport.

These guys are absolutely phenomenal. I bring every vehicle i have to them. And refer them to everyone I know. If you're looking for a great mechanic this is the place to go
