Thank you for installing the side step/ running board on my Jeep wrangler 2025. Price is high @246$ but work was clean and quick. Got an appointment easily. Friendly owner/manager. 2 Friendly Golden retrivers welcomed me. Felt comfortable and job welldone. Thank you. Will recomend friends and family to you guys.

Chris complained that it was a very hard job to install springs on my Jeep as he would have to "take the whole car apart." He then quotes it as an 8 hour job. The whining like a child thing drove my business elsewhere. They did replace my transfer case for a good price but I was told I couldn't go through Mopar for the warranty. Needed a lot done that Chris and Nick had little to no interest taking serious. I have never heard a mechanic complain about simple springs because he has to "take the whole car apart", these guys rebuild engines and transmissions it says online. Chris then calls me arguing over the phone. The man is 40+ arguing with a 20 year old while on the clock.

Have a car that's out of warranty and you don't know where to take it because you're a dealership person but sick of paying stupid prices they charge? If you're in the Macomb County area, I recently found Dobson Performance Garage when the Blazer decided to get testy. I had some warning lights come on which amounted to some not so fun Christmas present shopping, but it was necessary and the pricing was reasonable given what was done. Unlike the last time I had a warning light problem and took it to the biggest Chevy Dealership in my area and they charged me $600+ for a battery replacement (that totally didn't fix the problem) and took 3 days to diagnosis that, even though he told me that was what it was going to be when I dropped it off, Dobson's didn't do that. 1)you're greeted by the door by Ringo and Lola (the owner's 2 Golden's), 2) They talked with me and explained my problem was a common in Chevy Blazers, 3) He drove with me in the car and explained to me what happens and why it was happening, and 4)they got it back to me the same day. Side bonus: They do work on performance cars and they showed me some of the sweet looking old cars they were working on. Though I had to return a week later, they still made the best out of the situation, and worked with me to give me the best pricing. It was the day before Thanksgiving, I called them the day before that Wednesday, and they still got it back to me the same day. I'm very grateful for finding them, and will continue to go back to them... but hopefully I won't need to anytime soon. The Front Office head dude- Chris and the Jr. of the two owners, really made my experience amazing. PS: Ladies: Ever have that experience where you're talked down to just because your female, and because you don't know anything about auto repairs you are sold things for an extraordinary price (Example: $600 for a battery replacement that took 3 stupid days and supposed 3 hours of labor, or god knows how many times I've had that happen to me about home repairs and remodeling)? Yeah, Dobson's totally did not do any of that! They were very kind, took the time to explain things to me, dumbed it down when I asked further questions, and just were good people who do good work on cars.

This is where you want to bring your car for service. Having experienced multiple other shops and working in the industry for years, I can say with confidence Dobson will take care of you. Chris and his team got my VW in and out finding my problem quickly, even working past closing to get my car back as soon as possible. They kept me updated on every step and worked to ensure we were both on the same page regarding the process and pricing. Thank you again Chris and everyone else who worked hard to get me back on the road you guys are a life saver!

Dobson got my Jeep with a Hemi in it reprogrammed and ready for any trail, hill or mountain. Wish I would have found them 1st! I had taken it to 2 other places that could not correct the issues. Very impressed and thankful for Dobson!!
