Belle Tire

I sent my step son to take my car in to have a tire checked. He's been driving this car for the past 6+ months. There is a slow leak. The tread is definately low on the tire and it does need to be replaced soon, however I just wanted to have it looked at to see if it could be fixed or not. First, when my step son told him that I wanted him to have it checked out, he made some comment "does your step dad make you run all his errands?" That seems pretty unprofessional to me. And also, it's really none of his business, but I guess he was just trying to be cool. Second, he refused to even look at it, and just said we would have to get a new tire. And maybe that's the case. Maybe it's impossible to plug a tire that's balding? Or maybe this guy just wanted a sale. If he was nicer and had better costumer experience, maybe id have the answer to this. But, what this did tell me is that I won't be buying anymore tires at this location. I'll drive 2 miles further to Discount or even a Walmart for better service. I just couldn't believe what I was told when I got home today. I might be making a mountain out of a mole hill, but I've never been treated that way or have my family members been treated that way buy a guy who sells tires. So thanks.

Typical lack of quality workmanship as my neighbor just pointed out to me that I had scratches on all of my rims that I didn't notice when I left the shop. It's obvious that they scratched them with the impact wrenches used for putting on the lug nuts. The one picture is the original state of the rim with no scratches. Below is the original review but I will not be back. Very disheartening that you can't find any kind of services these days where people take pride in their work. I paid 1200 plus dollars for the tires. (Original review)After being burned by other car service places, I thought I'd give Belle Tire Sterling Heights a shot because they are only 5 minutes from me. Rob, the service personnel guy, did not try to upsell me in any way. He courteously explained the whole process of the tire installation for the tires that I had pre-ordered online before I came in and the courtesy check they would perform. If I needed an alignment, he would show me the data first. They applied my discount for being a RN and it was done in a very timely manner. I intend to get all my future car service work there in the future on my 2020 Edge

I purchased my tires at this location because they could order and arrive quickly vs the dealership. In addition, this location was close to my home. I have never had my tire lights come on my hybrid. In October, my tire light came on. I brought back to the purchasing location. I was turned away. He quickly waived me to put air in my tire. Fast forward, I Jan 31st 2026. I have been putting air in the same tire every 2-3 days in. I was told that I could stop anytime and they would service me. Again, I was being pushed away. I had to schedule an appointment. Then, agreeing to schedule one, I then asked for a Saturday appointment. That was a problem also! He responded with well you can wait and maybe we can get to you this afternoon. I will point out, I am here as they unlocked the front doors first thing this morning. Knowing this used to be first come first served. I ensured I would be here early. Now its appointments only! I sat down to wait the entire day away to be serviced for a flat tire. I proceeded to call the next closest Belle Tire in Madison heights. The salesman informed me if you purchased tires from Bella Tire and its a flat tire issue I could walk in and be serviced which is what I was about to do since I MIGHT get serviced this afternoon at the Van Dyke Sterling Hts location providing I remained on site. The salesperson came back and all of a sudden said our 8am appointment that did not show up. We can take care of you. He came back shortly , less that 15 minute with my key and invoice that nothing was found. I will add this is the same salesman from October that Im speaking of. Ill never come back here nor will I ever buy tires/ service from this location. I always went to the Fenton Belle Tire and never was treated like this. Im giving a 1star just because they cant get a zero star. The timeliness is 8:05 am on the change of events.. they had the car less than half hour. Then sent me on my way with nothing found. They simply put air in the tire and I could of done that myself. No tire is flat every 2-3 days for 3 months. I have a digital tire inflated that reads what its currently at and when to stop pumping air once it has reached its setting. Im due up for a oil change at Ford. Im going to have Ford run a diagnostic on my hybrid and pull the tracking of my tire light pressure that comes upon as proof.

I came in for my six month tire rotation. Everything was great, Everybody was nice. I would highly recommend Belle Tire. Thank you for everything. From Patrick Brunner. Thanks for the coffee.

When I came in for brakes and rotors and was told by Rob that I also had a busted CV joint. Figured I would have time to do it, but a few days later I heard a horrible noise on the way into work. Fearing the worst I turned around and went straight back to Belle Tire. The mechanic (Ron) brought me out to show me the damaged CV axle and a broken Sway Bay Link (hence the banging noise). I know some mechanics and they tell me all the time they hate customers who ask a ton of questions. But, Me being the inquisitive type, I asked a few questions and Ron took the time to explain to me what happened, how the parts function and the dangers of not getting them fixed. During the repairs, he also found and showed me a missing CV axle spring clip that the dealership (just to to their north, ehem....) forgot to put in during recent transmission work. Dave, the Rep who helped me that morning, answered a few questions also, and treated me with kindness and patience too. Kindness and Patience. NOT EXACTLY a pervasive element in today's modern customer service landscape IMO. But these 3 guys treated me with both and then some. If I am being honest, I was always skeptical of the "smaller/local" shops ( worried about the upsell and overcharge.) But I now found a place that I feel I can trust. Ron has been doing it for well over 2 decades & can work on my cars ANY TIME. Thank you guys for top notch work and great customer service. My car drives better than it has in years. With a crew like this, I WILL be back
