EK Auto Glass Repair Shop

Come here for your auto glass needs! Someone had broken into my car on one of the coolest days of the year and I checked all of my options in Metro Detroit and I could not find a autobody shop or any window repair shops that could get my car repaired the same day however they made it happen! They had to drive to Toledo to grab my glass for my car which I was really pleased with and thankful for they did a great job and also vacuumed my car afterwards!

It is so refreshing to see a business take pride in its work and EK Auto Glass is a place that displays that! After getting the runaround at a dealership down the road that shares its name with a Peter Gabriel band of the 70s, I decided to look here and wow am I so glad I walked in. My vehicle isn’t the newest one on the block but Essam and his team came to take a look at the giant cracks in my windshield and let me know that they not only had a new windshield in stock but could have it done in around 1 hours time! The price was right too, saving me close to $800 compared to the clowns at the dealership. Essam and the guys took my vehicle and went straight to work! When they said an hour turnaround, they meant it! They even showed me a few updates while I was waiting to show me that they don’t take a break, they work until the job is done. I had the keys back in hand and a brand new windshield in place! The lobby area was small but the chairs were comfty, there was fresh coffee, juice for kids, clean bathroom and a tv on with the news. If you can’t wait, there’s a tim Hortons just a 2 minute walk away. A few things to note, I can only speak on my experience as a first time customer but, you may have to call ahead before walking in as you might need an appointment or they might have to order yours. They can get busy really quickly as between the hour time I was waiting there were 3 other vehicles coming in to have service work done. Another thing to note is that they did replace the rear view mirror with my new windshield but for any other things such as phone or dash cam mounts, you will have to do that yourself since it’s a liability issue. Essam let me know this and afterwards I ran up to the hardware store to pick up new adhesives for like $10 and put it back the way I had it once I got home. Also Essam let me know to leave the tape on the windshield for a few days while the windshield settles into place and try to limit your driving during this time. I let my jeep sit for over a day and took the tape off and drove through some recent rain storms with no problems or leaks to report! I haven’t seen out of my windshield this clearly since before Covid times. If you need a new windshield get to EK and let Essam and the team take care of you!

The team members are amazing and the owner makes sure you are satisfied!!!! The assignment was understood and completed… I called around 10:30 am and was informed to pull up around 12 noon… the price was amazing as well. Definitely will be back and highly recommend … before and after pictures… done in a timely fashion as well… thanks 🙏🏾

My car was broken into and burglarized, I called first thing in the morning, they were able to take me right away, they replaced my window. The pricing was extremely affordable, and staff was friendly. I was in and out within an hour.
