If I could give Alex’s Tire Company on Gratiot in Roseville 100 stars, I would. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Just imagine the additional 95 😀). I started off texting Alex last night, and by this afternoon, I was at the shop meeting his dad, Dan. Let me tell you, Dan is a legend. In an industry where "customer service" is often treated like a mythological creature, Dan is the exception. He stocks both new and used tires, and he didn't play the "upsell game" for a second. He didn't pressure me, he didn't judge my budget, and he certainly didn't make me feel bad for buying what I could afford. Dan actually --gets it—he knows what folks are going through these days and he has the kindness not to make you feel like you have to fork over your last dollar just to get back on the road safely. He’s kind, he’s funny, and he's above all refreshingly honest. Thanks to Dan, I know exactly where I’m going the next time I need a brand-new set of tires: I’m coming straight back to Alex's Tire Company. Because when you find someone who treats you like a person instead of a transaction, you don't go anywhere else.Bravo, Dan. Bravo. I went to get my tires changed today. I had no clue what I was talking about, they were very understanding and helpful. They walked me through my questions and helped me with extra stuff as well! Also very good used tires for good prices! I would highly recommend!

He will let you watch him work and make friendly conversation with you, and explain what he is doing. so, if you take your car somewhere else, then you would know what to look for to keep certain mechanics honest.
