Eddie's Quality Transmission

They rebuilt my transmission, and did an excellent job! My car runs great, probably better than ever before. And it's an 08 Saturn Vue, that I've been driving since January 2012. Very happy! Professional work!

My 4Runner trans started slipping after I did a fresh fluid change on it went looking for a shop to take it in but no one had an opening, some didnt even want to work on it. I became frustrated and called my family members asking if they know a trust worthy shop and they pointed me to Eddie so I drove it up to his shop. Eddie welcomed me and asked what was wrong with the trans, once I told him the symptoms he knew exactly what had happened and took my car in and started working on it asap. Eddie kept me in the loop called me frequently with updates and explained the whole mess that went down after I changed the trans fluid. He got me new parts with the best prices got my truck back within a week all fixed like its brand new. Thank you Eddie and your nice staff you got my truck fixed up and I was able to get right back to work not missing a day.

Eddie is very knowledgeable in his craft of automotive repairs. He answered all of my questions prior to repair and was very reassuring that they have dealt with many common issues my f150 were known to have. He also was able to arrange a tow from the shop my truck was at first to his shop and took the stress of figuring that whole situation out away. The shop called me to inform me as soon as my truck arrived. They were very responsive from the moment I first called. After diagnosing my truck needed a new transfer case, he reached out and we decided to purchase a replacement. They supplied a 60 day warranty on the repair. So far the truck has been running great. Truck was in and out in a few days. If I have any other auto repair needs I trust Eddie.

I will never return to this shop ever again, not because of the work but because of deceptive practice of getting me to pay a 100 dollars more for towing when I stated I had my AAA to tow me. On January 12th 2026 I contacted A1 transmission to replaced the shifter cable on my CT6, I did my homework and read the reviews and seems like a shop that gets the job done. So I asked for a quote, I already had the part and only needed labor done. I also had part of the panel inside the vehicle already removed so it should been a quick 1 hour job , but. they charge me for 2 and half hours even though it shouldn't take that long to do, but I agreed, which came up to 350 dollars in labor. After agreeing I told the lady at the front desk I'm going to Have AAA drop off my vehicle off, she offered we do complimentary towing on certain jobs, i asked her was she sure cause i already discussing my pricing with the owner so I didn't think it would be an issue. So I let them pick my car up with was only 2 miles away from the shop. But I should went with my first mind. They called me to tell me the work was completed but the pricing was a 100 dollars more.I asked why, they told me because of towing, I told them. y'all offered complimentary towing. Their response, is only if over a thousand or more, I asked why was this conveyed when i told them i had AAA to drop my vehicle off I feel like this is a Scam technique. After going up to the shop meeting the owner he started to make up stories as if he told me it was a 100 dollars to tow and I agreed to that from the beginning. I vow never to come back tot his shop ever again I'm not here to pay them extra for simple repairs so they can get more money out of me, and I don't like liars.

Took my Cadillac CTS to A-1 after a bunch of transmission fluid was on the ground. Eddie stayed open late so a tow truck could drop off the car. They replaced the transmission lines, cooler, and radiator. They communicated frequently on the phone with updates. The whole process was surprisingly fast, and I had my car back quickly. I would trust them to do heavy mechanic work on cars.
