Correct Car Care

I take my fleet trucks to Joe often as they brake down often as we use them daily. He has done engine replacement, rear end replacement, brakes, batteries and other services for me. Quick turn around and great price. I also own a few classic cars that I have had him do small upgrades on along with my mother’s car and daughter car. Quality work done right and quickly and priced right.

I took my car here after I needed a head gasket repair. I luckily did have a warranty but still even with my warranty I payed over $1,000. After they had my car for about a week or two I get a call to pick up my car. I picked up my car and everything was fine until I drove a little over 5 minutes down the road , and my car started loosing oil very fast. I turned off the car and looked underneath and there was a huge puddle of oil , it was after the shop closed unfortunately, so I had to wait to the next day to call them. I called them immediately first thing in the morning and they got the car towed. My boyfriend had to leave work to meet there tow truck driver which was a slight inconvenience but we weren’t too worried. After that my boyfriend started dealing with the communication between the shop and anything to do with the car. After about a day we got a call that a honest mistake was made and while doing the oil change that was needed due to the repair someone didn’t tighten the drain plug bolt. We were able to pick the car up and take it back home. As I was driving it home I was on the highway going about 70 Mph and every single light on the dash lit up and then the car shuts off completely, I was able to pull it to the side of the road safely. I called my boyfriend once again to come and help me. As he was inspecting the car there was oil all over the ground once again, we called a tow truck because it was after business hours once again. As the tow truck was pulling the car onto the bed he realized it “threw a rod”. We got the car dropped off at the shop and waited till business hours. The shop told us that they would replace the engine completely free of charge on my end due to their mistakes. It’s been about 2 months now since the engine was replaced issue free , until now I take my car to get a oil change and it was brought to my attention there’s a oil leak. They said one of the fasteners of the oil pan was snapped off , they also said it looked like there was a attempt to patch it but obviously it failed and it needed to be replaced not just a patch. This is obviously frustrating to me because I have not had any issues besides my head gasket until bringing it to this shop. I was never planning on leaving a review due to the car being fixed , but after finding out they still just stuck things together I changed my mind. I will never bring my car back here or recommend any person to bring their car to this shop and especially not a young woman.

The best honest place to get your car fixed. I have been taking my cars here for years and I have never been disappointed. If you go one time you will never go anywhere else!
