Alright; took me a min to get to this but, here I am. Let me start off by saying welcome to the community. This location sat empty for a bit, after the audio sound place moved; likely do to COVID. I often kept wondering what would become of the location. A couple times I passed by, and didn’t give it a second thought. I have been dating auto shops for sometime now. The work I was looking to have done on my Nissan was two front shocks, inner and outer tie rods, and sway bar links. For months I have been driving around with parts in my car because, the winter came before I could put them on. For the whole winter, I had been asking around how much would different places charge to do the work for me, and the prices were astronomical. I mean, how about price gauging; I knew what I wanted to pay, and what was reasonable for the labor. I stopped in a place in Ohio, $3000 bucks, in Michigan I was quoted $900 at one location, in little Mexican town $650 (this wasn’t bad but, they did some other work for me that was much more difficult, complicated, and time consuming but, charged me $450 to do. So I kinda felt like they were trying to make up for it). Anyway, I just wasn’t having any luck with an auto shop, being forthcoming. Nevertheless, there is a place not far from MotorCity imports, that I would go to for oil changes, and their mechanic had done some great work on my van. I went back to find him but, I kept missing the guy. On my way home, I hesitated but, made the decision to stop here at Motor City imports, and ask. I just knew when I walked in, I was going to be disappointed but, to my surprise, after giving him the info of what was needed, I was shocked. For the first time, a shop actually gave me the exact price of what I wanted to pay; It was kismet. I later realized that I forgot to ask about an additional part to be put on, and while he was at it throw some headlight bulbs in ( this on a Nissan is not as simple as opening a hood). I ended up paying a little more but, it wasn’t a price gauge, and still extremely reasonable. What was most important over all, was the customer service, vast knowledge, the patience, and communication the owner held. I love knowledge, and I walked away actually learning some things I wasn’t aware of. I’m very inquisitive, and that for some people can be annoyed but, this man’s patience is top notch. The other thing, was his mechanic put things back the way they were. Nothing is more annoying than pieces missing, after a mechanic opens something up to repair it. I will bring my other vehicles here, be less annoying, and continue to do business with them. I have never been more excited to find a shop I can potentially be married to. Cheers!

Excellent service from start to finish. The staff was honest, professional, and very knowledgeable. They explained the repairs clearly, gave a fair price, and completed the work on time. My car runs great and I couldn’t be happier. It’s hard to find a shop you can trust, but this one is definitely it. Highly recommend!
