Preston Automotive

This is my go to place for brakes. I've been here twice. It's an independent auto repair shop. As far as I know they do brakes and suspension repair. They were pretty honest. They let me see the worn out brake pads when the vehicle was lifted up. They got the new brakes delivered in like 50 minutes which I thought was pretty quick. $400 for rear rotors and pads is pretty reasonable these days. My only complaint is the seats are rock hard spartan. Can you get cushier seats when the budget allows?

I took my vehicle to another shop because there was a rotating noise coming from the front and they said that it was the transfer case assembly which was a $4500 repair. I wanted a second opinion so based on recommendations, I took it to Preston. They did a diagnostics and it was the front axle that caused the noise. Matt showed me the axle and the issue. He was thorough and his communication was outstanding. He saved me a lot of money than the other shop. Highly recommended.

Preston Automotive is the only place I will EVER take my car 2 when I have a issue with it. Matt is the most honest mechanic in the whole state of Michigan. As allot of u know when a women goes to get their car fixed they basically get screwed big time.... but not Preston Automotive. Matt and his entire crew care about their customers and their safety.... It's truly so hard to find a mechanic like u. Just so greatful 4 u and your entire crew as well
