Belle Tire

I had a blowout and was driving on the spare. The damaged tire was in the back of my van. When I took it in, i wasn't sure if I should get four new tires or two tires. It happens at all tire shops, I knew they would recommend four. So I asked them to check and contact me before they replace the tires. That didn't happen. They replaced all four. When I asked why, they said the tires were down to the bare minimum. Not sure about that. Also I asked them to put the spare back under the van. It was tossed in the back of my van where damage 2 of my work ladders. One was just a small step ladder, but the other was a specialty ladder. Both are no longer able to be used. In fact, I threw the step ladder out so no one would accidentally use it. The new tires are very good and the price was very reasonable though. Really enjoyed the AI reply. So no manager or other employee will see or even respond to this.

I went in 2 days ago for an alignment for my well maintained SUV. Within 10 minutes I was called to the desk. I was given an estimate for repairs that they deemed necessary. The moment I saw tie rod ends, I knew something was up. They were just replaced last year by my mechanic. (Unfortunately he doesn't do alignments) When I told them I need to go to my mechanic and if in fact there was something wrong, I could probably get it done cheaper. Then he said, 'Let me save you some time. I'll knock some money off and it'll be $1150 out the door.' Again, I have to see my guy. I left without repairs and immediately went to my mechanic. He checked it out and there is NOTHING wrong with it! I know for a fact my guy would NEVER let me drive my car if it needed those repairs. So, Belle Tire, what game were we playing here?? Did you see an older single woman? An older car with some miles? ??? I will NOT be going back to Belle Tire. EVER.

I found a leak in my tire the night before I had to drive home from a conference, and took my car in here as a walk-in just after opening. I was told 2-3hrs to fit my request in; they finished in under 2! After showing me a 1.5in screw they pulled out of my tire, I couldn’t hide my shock as they had really saved my skin. Thank you all for your fine work and accommodation of me!

Do not come here to inflate your tires up. The display in the machine is broken. I've attached pics of the same.

Let me start by saying I am a 100% disabled army veteran (female) and I have never been discriminated against based on my gender in a mechanic shop. I came in for an ac recharge and an oil change and I said there was a leak. This guy AL says he can't recharge it because it will be a 10 k fine if he charges it with a leak. I said okay so fix the leak. He said you said they have to raise the engine and then I said that's what I was told are there notes in the computer? I asked him if he found the leak. He said we didn't look. It will cost us 173 to look and if it's a leak we can't fix the we have to remove the Freon and still charge you. I said I'm in a mechanic shop you fix leaks here correct? He said I don't like how you are talking to me said here your keys and kicked me out of the store! I took my key and said I want to speak to the manager. He refused to show me the manger so I had to ask another employee for the manager who luckily happened to be the manger. The employee said I was yelling at him and I was upset, but I DID NOT yell. I did however spoke sternly because how are you not going to fix my car based off NO NOTES in the computer and NO DIAGNOSTIC on my car? The manger said I'll take care of you from now on. I said I wanted to put in a complaint against the employee but the manger ignored me. He took my car and went to check the ac. At this point I'm having a full blown panic attack because if I was a MAN and NOT A WOMAN he would not have spoken to me that way. I was willing to spend the "thousands of dollars" (according to the manger), to fix it. Don't mechanic shops want thousand dollar jobs? I had to call my boyfriend at work to come get me. Let me tell you, when my boyfriend came in he simply went up to another guy, white guy, red beard, glasses don't know his name, who was very nice and apologized for my hard time, and asked to simply return the car to me. This guy got up and went back with in minutes my car was given back to me with no charge. If you are a WOMAN beware of speaking to AL at this Belle tire. Save yourself the frustration and go to a different shop.
