Mike at Pointe Auto Tech is by far the best auto mechanic I’ve ever dealt with. His pricing is beyond fair, and he’s honest and straightforward. We had an issue on my dad’s Pontiac Grand Prix that three other shops couldn’t figure out. When I called Mike and asked if he wanted a shot at it, he didn’t hesitate—he said, “Sure, it’s probably the wiring on the crank sensor.” He was right, and he got it fixed. If you want someone who actually knows what they’re doing and doesn’t waste your time or money, Pointe Auto Tech is the place. Highly recommend.

I waited literally years to make this review because I wanted to make sure it wasn't just a couple of isolated incidents but its not. I've seen it more than 2 dozen times. I've seen mechanics from here moving customer cars out of the shop and beating the hell out of them...slamming over curbs, flooring the brakes, mostly driving in the alley behind the shop which has massive potholes. It makes me absolutely sick, my senior citizen neighbor takes her car here all the time and its always having major issues. I wonder why 😫😫

Yesterday my truck wouldn’t start, and after some friends got it going, I knew the starter needed to be replaced. I first called another shop, but they didn’t really seem to care—they just told me to “bring it in whenever and we’ll get to it when we can.” When I called Pointe Auto Tech, Mike answered and immediately treated my situation like it mattered. He told me to bring the truck straight in and not shut it off, making sure I’d get there without getting stranded. He really cared about helping me, and it showed. Even better, they had the starter replaced and my truck back to me in less than 24 hours. That’s incredible, especially since I don’t have another vehicle to fall back on. Mike truly went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, and I can’t thank him enough. The price point was amazing too! Looking around and his prices are lower for sure! So excellent customer service and great prices! Highly recommend Pointe Auto Tech—and especially Mike—if you want a shop that actually looks out for you, gets the job done right, and doesn’t try to overcharge you!
