Moe and the entire shop is a rip off. My mom bought a car from them March 2025 and Moe gave it to us at the end of the day after he said he put a new motor in it and said drive it and bring it back if you have any problems and he'll tale care of it. I immediately experienced problems and took it back the next day and kept getting the run around saying we're busy bring it back another day or can you leave it we'll check it out. They kept telling me every thing checked out fine when I would leave it. I get stranded and he gives it back running saying he fixed a computer problem all the while all the other problems still exist that I keep telling him about. Meanwhile they keep the car for a week to two weeks at a time before giving it back and I get stranded again. He kept it 3 months and then fussed at me talking about he sold it to me As Is and he's been paying out his pocket to fix it. Then charges us $1,250 for a timing chain and gives it back, only for us to take it to get an oil change and they showed me the car was in horrible shape , the oil was mixing with the coolant, needed a whole new exhaust system that they patched so it wouldn't be so loud (I was aware of that), no 02 sensors were present and one of the converters were missing. Then I had to tow it because I had to pull over on the freeway because I had a warning that the engine was overheating. The other repair shop said he never did a timing chain job because there are 10 codes coming back on the engine and 10 for the timing chain and the oil mixing with the coolant was a bad sign and it wasn't worth repairing. Moe took $5,000 from us and they kept the car at his shop for most of the time. He is a crook and I would never recommend anyone to him. He knew our story and my ex husband had spent thousands of dollars with their other repair shop. He played on my vulnerability saying he would help us out and didn't care nothing about us trying to have transportation to get my mom her medical care. Yeah $1,250 might have been less than what someone else would charge but he never did the work. Yes there is a warranty on it but it won't fix the car to run without the engine going out for a car that he should have never sold to anyone. He kept the car 3 months so we could not have any recourse and never gave us paperwork to show what work he did do for a record except for the timing chain as a receipt. He is a complete evil and deceitful disgusting person. This is no joking manner. Motown Automotive DESERVES NO STARS. Say something to me, my response won't be nice anymore. You know what you did and never disclosed what truly was wrong with the car and just kept saying you're handling it. You preyed on us and you're a sick individual.

I went to the center with the previous owners.They screwed me out of $5000 and MO at the new management set, everything straight, I am so so happy.Thank you for honoring your word and getting my car back on track.I will refer you to others.Keep up the good job i had electrical work done. Don't know how I can take pictures of that, but when I tell you all that he did a wonderful job, wonderful job if I will return, if need be for any work I may need done.

Staff got irritated when I reminded them that tires needed to be filled prior to an alignment and told me that “I should have told him to inflate the tires” (see attached pictures, two because the display flashes on camera), not to mention only being offered the most expensive tire option until I told them “just do the alignment and that’s it” 3 times. No offer to realign with the tires inflated after bringing it up, do not waste your money, I’d be hard pressed to know if they actually did anything *UPDATE* Alignment was significantly worse then when I arrived (I literally lined it up by eye and drove from my house) and they tried to offer tires and say my tires were bad first, only said he would realign after I started bringing out a video of it (hard to see but the car swings right with the wheel to the left when you let go)

I strongly do not recommend! Shop had my vehicle 3 months putting in a transmission that didn’t work.. secondly they scraped up the entire side of my door and don’t want to compensate me. I paid for a rack and pinion to be installed, ten minutes later, it leaked everywhere almost caused an accident. But they claimed they test drove it and everything was fine. Save your money and go elsewhere!!!!!

Out of desperation and convenience I came to this shop. Spent over 4k at this place just to take it to another shop and find out that all the work “they did” wasn’t done, or was done improperly. Don’t bring your car here. They don’t communicate, will keep your car for days without saying anything or answer the phone. I had to literally go up there just to get information on my car. I wouldn’t bring my dog here. Pls go elsewhere
