The hours listed on Google state that this business opens at 8:30 AM, except on Sundays when they’re closed and Mondays when they open at 9:30 AM. I arrived at approximately 8:30 AM and waited until around 9:05 AM, but no one showed up to open the shop. Assuming they either weren’t opening that day or would be opening much later, I decided to take my business to another tire shop nearby. After leaving the other shop, I happened to drive back past this location and noticed that it was finally open. I stopped in and politely asked one of the employees what time they normally open. He replied, “9:00.” I then mentioned that their Google listing showed 8:30 AM. His response was surprisingly blunt: “We open at 9:00. We just have 8:30 listed on Google so customers are already waiting when we get here.” I was honestly shocked by that answer. That’s not how business hours are supposed to work. Customers rely on posted hours to plan their day, and intentionally listing an earlier opening time just to have people waiting when you arrive is misleading and disrespectful of people’s time. Not everyone has an extra 30 minutes to sit around waiting for a business to open. The issue wasn’t the wait itself—it was the apparent disregard for customers’ time and the admission that the incorrect hours were intentional. If the actual opening time is 9:00 AM, the business should simply list 9:00 AM.
