Well, it’s been about a month since I dropped my van off to have a transmission replaced and it is running like a champ now. I must give high praise to my guy Weldup or Wally as others may call him and all the guys that work at the shop. If you are looking for honest and great service this is the place to check out.

View on GoogleThis is an update to my original post. It has been 4 months since my transmission was replaced. I must admit it has worked great. Recently something was dripping from my van which I thought was transmission fluid. Took it back to Wally and he tested and found that it was not transmission fluid. He did this at no charge and tried to help me figure out what it was. (It ended up being a loose antifreeze hose.) While Wally was testing my transmission fluid he did forget to put the cap back on it and unfortunately lost it. I was unaware of this until I got an oil change. It took him a couple of weeks but he finally did give me the money to go pick up a new transmission cap from the dealer. He has called me several times to check on the status of my vehicle which I must admit is kind of nice. We agreed that he should no longer accept vehicles for trans replacement if he cannot get it done in a couple of days. The work was great. The timing left a lot to be desired. So I am just going to say sometimes you just have to be patient to get quality work. I heard great things about this place. Wally is a very nice and spiritual person but he talks too much. I gave them my vehicle May 23rd and I did not get it back until June 21st. I was livid and calling him everyday and he kept telling me transmissions take time. A freaking month. He then said he only has 2 mechanics. WHY DID YOU TAKE MY VEHICLE THEN? My vehicle is a handicapped vehicle so my mom could go no where without paying big money for transportation. He gave me $22 off. Cost me $2773. After the trans was fixed somehow now my water pump is bad and needs to be replaced. $1012. Of course Wally states they have nothing to do with each other. My vehicle was not overheating prior to bringing it to him. My suggestion is to go someplace else if you need your vehicle. I guess the transmission is good but it has to go to another shop again and I have only driven it about 50 miles.

View on GoogleDid a good job on installing a transmission, but when I return it for a leak coming from a transmission line, they wanted me to take it to another shop. And you would think after paying someone a $1000 for install, the job would be completed. I ended finishing the job myself.
