Royal Transmissions

I brought my car to Royal Transmission because the reverse gear wasn’t working. They said they fixed it, but after I got the car back, the transmission started slipping and it was leaking a lot of oil. I took it back to them to fix the oil leak, and they kept the car for a whole month. When I got it back again, it still wasn’t right. The car wouldn’t downshift properly, 4th gear doesn’t work at all, and it basically jumps from 3rd to 5th with no 4th. Even when you move the shifter by hand,4th and 5th won’t engage. And the car is still leaking oil. I’ve been taking the car back and forth for six months. I’ve brought it in about seven times, and it’s always the same unresolved problems. They don’t fix anything. He keeps telling me there’s nothing wrong with the car, but that’s not true. The car is not okay at all. It’s not even drivable in its current condition. On top of that, they damaged a bunch of things: broken plastic covers underneath, broken connectors, a broken front bumper, and the driver side mirror was damaged too. I marked bolts with white paint and I could see things were removed and swapped. They even broke the adjuster near the gas pedal where the kickdown cable connects. They work carelessly, and even left the inside of my car dirty. I’ve spent about 5,000 dollars on this, and the problem is still not fixed. They give you a one-year or 100,000-mile warranty on paper, but they just keep telling you to bring the car back without actually fixing it. After I paid, the manager became rude on the phone and dismissive. I feel like they only cared until they got the money. If you deal with this shop, test the car thoroughly before paying, and don’t pay until you’re sure everything is actually fixed. I do not recommend this place. I do not forgive them, not in this life and not in the hereafter.

best service ever! they fixed my mother Rhonda's transmission in her ford explorer in a timely manner a few months ago. she had a small issue with it this week but they fixed the issue within an hour at no cost to us! great customer service, would definitely recommend :) thanks again for taking care of her

They took over a transmission repair from another shop that had been working on the transmission for almost 5 months. Once they got my vehicle in their shop they were very informative, open, and quick. They took just a couple days to take out and examine the transmission and make the needed repairs. Thank you for taking care of my vehicle and getting me back on the road!

My transmission went out and I was referred to Royal by Sam's Auto Repair. The manager Steve keep me in the loop every step of the way. He did the job in a timely manner. When I picked-up my SUV, I ran it through the paces the next day on I-96 and there were No Problems. He wanted me to listen for any funny noises for the next few days but so far I am satisfied.

This is the 2nd vehicle that Royal transmission has repaired for me. My experience with Steve both times were great! Once he looks the vehicle over he'll call you and tell you what the problem is and explain it in great detail so one will have an understanding of what it is that failed. I traveled about 35 Miles one way to get to him, I passed several other transmission shops I could have taken my Jeep to,, however they did an awesome job first vehicle I took to them and after getting my vehicle back I'm totally content. They did an awesome job.
