Cummins Sales and Service

We cannot say enough good things about the Cummins service department in Mount Clemens. We live, work, and travel full-time in our Entegra Coach motorhome, so having a service location we can truly trust is incredibly important to us. Bob, our service writer, is outstanding. He is thorough, knowledgeable, caring, and excellent at communicating throughout the process. He kept us informed, explained things clearly, and genuinely seemed to have our best interest in mind. We went out of our way to bring our motorhome to this location for service this year, and we are so glad we did. The whole team was great, and we’re grateful not only for the quality service work, but also for having a comfortable office space where we could work for the day while our coach was being serviced. We trust this location immensely and will absolutely be back.

We recently had our motorhome in for service at Cummins Sales and Service in Mount Clemens, MI, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Our service writer, Bob, was great to work with—professional, kind, and thorough. He kept us informed every step of the way and made a complicated situation feel manageable. The team discovered that our SCR Catalyst was part of a Cummins recall campaign that we were unaware of, and despite multiple service appointments across the country, it had never been addressed. Thanks to Bob, who flagged the issue and looked out for us, the part was replaced at no cost to us. We understand that while corporate may have covered part of it, the Mount Clemens team went above and beyond to take care of what wasn’t. This was absolutely the right thing to do, and it restores our faith in Cummins as a brand and in the idea that there are still good people out there doing the right thing. Every person we interacted with at this location was friendly, respectful, and clearly committed to taking care of their customers. If you ever need service in this area, we can’t recommend this location enough. Thank you again to Bob, Frankie, and the entire Mount Clemens team—we appreciate your efforts immensely!

Had a few calls to parts and service for my equipment. Barb and Bob were quite informative and helped as much as they could, but parts are not readily available for my Onan engine. They were upfront that they will not service my equipment, likely due to being 26 years old and the $222 cost of labor on it. Not great news, but they were honest about it. Would use them for parts in the future.

My RV's original generator and new generator (also bought here) have been serviced at this location and they've always been very pleasant to work with. It's not often you get this level of human decency out of a multinational corporation! I'm not even a blip on their radar, yet they treat me with care and look out for me by recommending against uneccessay work. I've had similar positive experiences with Cummins locations elsewhere in the country. Thank you to the team at Cummins Mt Clemens!

They were ready for me at my 9AM appointment. Check in was easy and socially distanced. My generator oil change was 52 minutes from from start to finish. Check out and paid the bill quickly. I tested the generator before ai left and it startedvon the first try and ran smoothly. Very professional and courteous staff.
