I can’t say enough good things about Raffi and Mike at MR Auto Service Center. From start to finish, they were honest, communicative, and genuinely focused on fixing my car the right way. They handled a major exhaust repair, a transmission repair, and several smaller general maintenance items, and everything was done with professionalism and attention to detail. Raffi and Mike took the time to clearly explain what was wrong, what needed immediate attention versus what could wait, and walked me through my options without any pressure or upselling. What really sets them apart is their integrity. You can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in their work. Pricing was fair, timelines were reasonable, and the quality of the repairs has been excellent. It’s rare to find a mechanic you can fully trust, but I’ve found mine. If you’re looking for a shop that’s knowledgeable, honest, and dependable, I highly recommend MR Auto Service Center and especially Raffi and Mike. They’ve earned a customer for life.

Took a car in on Monday ask him what the clicking noise on the right side of my car was he told me it was my control and my sway bar 900 bucks so he fixed it …went to pick up my car on Tuesday get in my car try to drive it off the lot. I hear the same sound that I heard when I turned the car in .. He takes it back into the garage puts it on the rack. He tells me it’s the other side control arm….??? at that point I knew he didn’t know what he was talking about so I took my car to another mechanic…..Do you realize that it was never my front end of my car…..!! it was my rear so he changed my front control, arm, stabilizer, and all kind of stuff in the front That didn’t need to be changed…..!! and when I confronted him. He gave me an attitude, so I took it to the Better Business Bureau file a complaint. You’re gonna see this guy on Fox News … never even offered to give me my money back, saying he put all those parts on my car that wasn’t needed. I Took the parts that he took off my car to another mechanic there was nothing wrong with those parts. He should’ve never took them off. Do not go to this place. They do not know what they are doing, and they will rip you off watch for them on channel 25.

I’ve had multiple experiences with Mr Auto Service Center and can confidently say Mike and Raffi are outstanding 💯 They recently handled a significant front-end collision repair for my mid-size SUV (radiator, condenser, bumper work, paint, etc.). The pricing was fair, the communication was clear, and they even applied a discount without me having to ask. They found the most cost effective parts and managed to finish the job in just a week. No upselling, no pressure, just honest work. I’ve also gone to them for routine oil changes and tire rotations, and they’re consistently efficient and straightforward. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, no-nonsense shop in Waltham, this is it. Highly recommend.

Original Post 5/29/25 So I stopped at Teo Mini Mart on Prospect St. to get my lottery tickets on my way home like I always do. Although today, when I got back in the car, the key wouldn’t make the ignition turn! So I walked across the street because I saw guys working at Mr. Auto and met Mike and Raffi. I explained the problem to the mechanic, Raffi, who was VERY knowledgeable and immediately knew what the problem was. He then sent me to talk with Mike in the office, and what a resourceful guy he is. He pulled up videos on YouTube to show me exactly what broke inside the ignition assembly. He then quickly made a few phone calls and checked prices on his computer, all just to save me another $7 from one competitor to the other and also found someone that’d overnight the package for the cost of a flat rate box from UPS. So fingers crossed that nothing else breaks in the meantime and that I’ll be able to pick my car up for the agreed price, and Mike promised me, “as long as nothing else goes wrong, the price won’t change. I mean of course I’d call you to discuss what the problem is and help you figure out the best path forward BEFORE parts get ordered and the price get changed! You’ve got my word “ Well, we’ll see. I’ll post a follow up and let you guys know if the price changes! UPDATE: 6/3/25 So I go back in the next day a little after lunch time, and Mike was standing there without my keys waiting for me! We go out, and he goes over EVERY detail with me! He starts the car to show me it works, and we go over parts and pricing and labor and everything. The price we agreed on, did happen to change though. I gotta be honest, I was taken a little aback when Mike said it was going to. But to my genuine shock, he actually explained that since I’ve previously taken my steering column and dashboard apart previously (and forgotten to put “a few” screws back in), it all came apart fast enough that they were under the books quoted time enough that they rounded down and gave me $18 almost $19 OFF what the total was supposed to be! I’m kinda glad I broke down where I did! I didn’t have a good and reliable, knowledgeable and inexpensive, TRUSTWORTHY mechanic before this. It was always that I’d breakdown on the road, call AAA, and letting their tow truck driver take me wherever and just prayed that I wasn’t going to get taken to the bank every time! Those days are OVER now! A big shout out to Mike and Raffi for helping me out! You guys have definitely made a regular customer out of me!
