Toucan Collision Repair Auto Body Shop

As we Americans sometimes say, “better late than never.” (Because sometimes, in life, one thing happens right after another so what’s important to us is inadvertently put on the back burner). I have been meaning to write this review of Toucan for MONTHS, but only now, do I actually have the time to do it. I have used Toucan’s services twice now (and, I have dashcam footage to prove that neither accident was my fault). Anyways, both times, Toucan treated me professionally. They fixed the damages, and both times, I also got my car back pretty clean, so I know they went the extra mile. If I had any questions about the repairs or my car, they were quick to respond. They were also good about keeping me updated as the repairs were taking place. I personally interacted with a couple of the maintenance folks, and they were great! They even took care of the rental reservation for me. And, for the longest time, I believed that Gustavo, the man I interacted the most with, was the owner because Gustavo provided such top-notch customer service. These days, people who are “only” employees don’t always provide good service, so if the owner is reading my review, I’d like him/her/them to know that Toucan is in good hands. Gustavo and the other men I interacted with were great! Obviously, I wish people were better drivers, so we wouldn’t have to deal with inconveniences, such as leaving our cars at shops, BUT, if you or a loved one is in the predicament of having to get your car fixed, I highly recommend Toucan. And I can honestly write this because I have seen loved ones get their cars back from other auto body shops in this area. The cars come back filthy, or have car parts IN THE CAB, or the owners/employees are rude or unkind. Let’s support businesses that treat both us and our belongings with care!

I cannot provide enough praise for Gustavo and his colleagues at Toucan Auto Center. They made a terrible experience (a car accident) so much better with their customer service, attention to detail, and quality workmanship. I selected Toucan somewhat blindly when their name was provided by my insurance company on a list of local service centers. I couldn’t have luckier in choosing them to repair my car. Gustavo reached out almost immediately to schedule my appointment. He was friendly and accommodating. I was able to drop off my car the same evening after regular business hours. Gustavo also provided consistent updates (via text, email, and phone calls) about my car’s progress. I even inquired about having some other minor damage (not related to accident) taken care of at the concurrently and was provided with a prompt quote. I didn’t end up having the additional repairs done, but I was completely floored when I picked up my car and saw that they’d done the work anyway — AT NO CHARGE! I was beyond satisfied with the level of work and care from Toucan Auto Service. My car is ten years old but it felt like getting behind the wheel of a brand new one. Thank you, Gustavo and team!
