New England Collision Center

We had a hit and run on our passenger side door on a fairly new car which had us really upset. From the get go, New England Collision Center folks were super empathetic and helpful. They did an incredible job with the door - it looks like nothing ever happened! As a plus they also cleaned the car (inside and outside!). Great service, timely work, the whole team there is amazing. Highly recommend their services!

I went to New England Collision Center in early March for an estimate and was told the job would take about a week, maybe sooner depending on how fast they could get the bumper in. The total came out to a little over $2,200, which I was fine with. I dropped my car off Monday evening expecting to have it back by the end of the week. By Friday, I hadn’t heard anything, so I had to call them myself for an update and asked about a touch up on the back bumper. They said they’d look into it and email me, took my email down, and then never followed up. I ended up calling again the following Monday. At that point it had already been over a week. They told me it would be a few more days because the bumper took longer to come in, which is fine, but I shouldn’t have to chase them down twice just to get a simple update. If you give a timeline and it changes, the responsibility is on the business to communicate that. You had my phone number and email. I should not be the one following up multiple times just to find out what’s going on. The work itself seems okay, but the whole experience was frustrating. When I picked up the car, they had “cleaned” the inside without asking, took everything out of the car and threw it all in the trunk instead of putting it back. On top of that, the inside of all the windows were super streaky. Driving with glare from the sun and headlights was actually pretty bad, and now I have to go back and clean it myself. If you’re going to offer a complimentary detail, it should at least be done properly. Otherwise, don’t do it. They also said they would email me about the additional touch up I asked about, which never happened until I followed up days later. The mention in their response they would refill my gas as a gesture, but didn’t actually provide any way to follow through on that. I left the car with about a quarter tank and picked it up with the gas light on, AC blasting, and a non saved radio station. That doesn’t line up with being told the car wasn’t really driven. I was drawn in by the 5 star ratings but it’s worth noting that reviews from people with more review history tend to be more reliable. For $2,200, I expect better communication and a smoother experience. The work may be fine, but the process around it was disappointing.

I’m dissatisfied after asking and being denied a partial refund for the detailing portion of my work. This photo is my car after the detailing. There were other areas of the car equally streaky. I paid $250 for this detailing, and picked the car up 2 hours after I was told it would be ready. I’m satisfied with the body work that was done. I presented the facts to the team and was told no refund because I wanted to leave before it was ready. Again, my argument is that if the customer arrives at 4 pm after being told the car is going to be ready at 2 pm, you don’t blame the customer and charge in full for incomplete work. I believe most people would agree with this, and thus my two star review. Looking at my history if reviews you can see I use this app for positive reviews almost exclusively; I don’t like to leave negative reviews, and always after attempting to resolve in person.

I recently had my back bumper repaired at this collision center and the experience was amazing from start to finish. The staff was professional, helpful, and very communicative. They explained everything clearly and made the process stress-free. The repair work was FLAWLESS you can’t even tell there was damage. My car was returned clean and looking brand new( they also detailed my car!) . I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing collision repairs. 10/10 experience.

I recently had to have my bumper and trunk panel replaced after being rear ended and I’m really glad I brought my car here! The staff were super friendly and really helpful with all my questions, and very communicative throughout the whole process. I’m really happy with the work they did on my car - it looks like nothing ever happened to it at all! They also detailed the interior which was super nice. Highly recommend to anyone who needs body work.
