I wanted to let you all know the 5 star reviews are justified. Just had front axles replaced on a 2019 Outback. Boxer saved me several hundred bucks over same procedure compared to dealer--using same OEM parts. Team there could not have been more professional. My car was ready exactly when they said it would be. There is a Hertz literally right next door if you need to leave something overnight. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, etc. in walking distance for quick services. While it's an extra 20 min drive compared to dealer, I'm happy to see they guys doing the work making the money. Worth the trip!

To put it bluntly, These guys are not smart or honest. A great combination. I brought my car in to have them look at a noisy rear wheel bearing. They took a look and informed me that BOTH rear wheel bearings needed to be replaced. Interesting as one of them was done about 10,000 miles ago. They went on to tell me that it was three hours of labor each to replace them. This is because “they will be seized and we will need to heat them up with a torch and bang on them with a sledgehammer. For three hours each? You can rebuild most of an engine in that time. Guess what, after some basic research there is a tool designed to remove them that costs about $50. I guess internet research isn’t their forte, that or they use one and just rip off their customers. Either way, my policy is if a mechanic mentions using a sledgehammer, best to run away as fast as possible. I brought it to another shop and not surprisingly only one wheel bearing was bad. It was less than one hour of labor to replace it. Boxer wanted $900 just in labor. Crooks. If you go here expecting a performance shop, or at the very least, someone who cares, you will be sorely disappointed. They weren’t interested in looking at a brief YouTube video explaining the procedure and told me “we usually just replace the condenser”. You replace condensers that work perfectly well? How will that solve the problem I described? It feels like many people who are in the trades today aren’t interested in any ongoing learning, these guys could be the poster children for this movement. My rear-tailgate lifts were making noise, they wanted $340 to replace them with a factory set. This is a five minute job that your mother could do. I ordered a well reviewed set from the big “A” for about $30 and popped them on. They don’t care about you, skimming the 10% discount they get from the dealer is more important to them than saving you $300. Disgusting.
