A Plus Auto & Truck Repair

Writing this so others can be AWARE of some of the experiences that I recently had with this shop as well as the owner Rabih. I came upon this shop thru Google as I had a brand new Jasper long block engine replaced down in Florida and upon returning back home here I needed a shop that services them due to warranty! The first time it went to this shop, my truck had a full tank of gas. When I picked it up, it was almost completely empty to the point of 20 miles left! I didn't say anything upon pickup as they did have to do some road testing and the truck was having fuel related issues, so I chalked it up as a loss at the time, but I don't forget things with circumstances. So a week later the truck had to go back to the shop for the same issues and this time I dropped it off with a full tank again! The truck hold 24 gallons and it's 400+ miles to empty on a tank! The truck was at the shop for a little of 3 weeks due to repair, diagnosis and waiting for parts. When I went to get the truck, while inside in office I went to remote start it and it wouldn't start. Normally the issue would be an engine light issue which is what started the journey to this shop, but when I went out to find out why the truck wasn't starting, I was enlightened to see on my cluster that my gas light was on and the gauge was on "E"!! So I went back inside to ask Rabih what happened to ALL the gas and his response was "well we had to road test the truck and sometimes we go to Gloucester!" From their shop to Gloucester you would have to drive all day and back to for days to burn a tank of gas! Then his response was" will maybe someone siphoned it while it was outside"! He refused to take any ownership of the situation and was completely combative when confronted with this issue! Then the second issue was when I went out to leave I had my warranty paperwork on my passenger seat as they had to use it for reference when servicing the truck. When I got called that the truck was finally fixed from Rabih, I asked him if the oil change was done yet to the warranty booklet that was on the seat. So when I got into my truck, I went to organize the paperwork that was shuffled on the seat and the only thing that was missing was the warranty book that I had discussed the night before with Rabih! So I had gone back inside to find out where it was and I got an argument from Rabih that he doesn't know what I was talking about and he never seen anything either! Then he proceeds to tell me that " all his guys have had lunch and he hasn't, that is I wanted to continue this situation then come back in a half hour!" There was also 2 other customers in the lobby when this was happening but obviously his customer service ISN'T REALLY A PRIORITY!! So just be aware and keep track of the miles of your vehicle when you drop it off as well....

I needed a new battery installed on my VW which requires a scan to reset the computer. This place had the battery in stock and the correct tool to do the scan. Father and son and the mechanic were professional and efficient, and very nice. I now know where to take my car when I need service in the future. Thank you for the quick attention to my problem!

I have been going here for years after a friend recommended them. Truly, the nicest and most honest mechanics you will find in the area.

Misleading, a bad job and a part missing. Found the place online through the Carmax Care insurance to replace the part that releases the trunk, it wouldn't open. While there I asked if they could repair the side skirt extensions on both sides that were loose. They said yes. They did a timely but lousy job on repairing the trunk, repaired the left door side skirt, kept the right door part in their shop while waiting for a special glue. I spent a couple of weeks calling but the glue never came. Finally I asked to have my part back, the owner said that they couldn't do it because they're not a body shop (then why did they do the trunk and the other side?). On top of it he said that they didn't have my part, I had to assure him that they did and a couple of days later they gave back the part, and supposedly a clip to hold it I had already paid for - but it's not brand new. I read other great reviews and went to this place, but it was not a good experience for me. Check out the pictures. I don't recommend it.

This place is amazing! I always bring my car to them for maintenance ! They always do a great job! Great customer service ! Great price ! I recommend 100 %
