Ruddy hasn’t been very helpful. Over Facebook marketplace he said he would install two tires for $30. Just on rims I have, not on a vehicle. Then when I tried to communicate with him for two days I didn’t hear anything back from him. But I remembered he said to just walk in. I figured maybe he doesn’t respond to messages or calls very often. So i drove an hour and a half from Maine to walk in. After I arrived I found a friend of his in his auto garage. He said Ruddy wasn’t here. I then sent him a photo, then Ruddy finally responded, and said he’s closed for today. He had other things to do. Later, after getting back to Maine, I asked him would it be to do 4 tires instead of two, the same way. He said $140. I asked him if it was $30 for the first two, and $110 for the second two. He confirmed that was the case. So clearly I’m not going to drive 6 hours total to pay more than my local Walmart charges. I feel like he doesn’t care about people very much due to A. The way he communicates and B. How his prices change with disproportionate increases.

Ruddy is an incredible mechanic! He is fast and above all...HONEST! I know nothing about cars and have panicked on more than one occasion...he always shows me the bad part and charges fair prices! He really is amazing!

View on GoogleThis is the first time I have had trouble with Rudy's I had a tire done and they didn't tighten the lug nuts properly 2studs were snapped off and my rim was ruined I had it fixed so I could get a inspection sticker in the second week of October now he tells me that he hasn't worked there since September I have 3 witnesses that were there I will no longer bring him any work from me or my family he refused to honor his work
