If you want a competent diagnosis for your car troubles, Frank/ Precision Auto is the place to go. Before going to Frank, I took my 2014 Chevy Cruze to what I thought was the best place to go (for years). I started to experience a coolant leak and thought it was going to be an easy fix. I took my car 3 separate times over 6 months to this other shop, total incompetency. They kept trying every corrective action before drilling down to root cause. The last time I went, their solution was to simply "refill it with coolant when you're running low." The belief was that the lines were rotted, and it would cost $2,000 plus to replace. I decided to take my Dads advice and take it to Frank. Frank drilled down to actual root cause before implementing a corrective action. Turned out it was a simple crimp that was broken. $2 part.

The name is exactly correct. I've been bringing my cars to Frank for about 10 years and there is no other mechanic or place I would rather entrust with my vehicles. I know that Frank is honest, and will work to minimize my costs by actually figuring out what's wrong and what's best for my car. In the time I've known him, he's saved me thousands and diagnosed problems that no one else can figure out. In addition to his honesty, it's a pleasure to get accurate, precise communications about the solution and the prediction of when my car will be ready. Most recently his update texts featured a pic of how he cured my Honda Odyssey transmission problem. I strongly recommend him for anyone's vehicles.
