A-1 Auto Collision

Brought my 2025 Nissan Pathfinder in to this particular auto body shop due to high reviews by past and present customer accolades about quality of work and the knowledge and customer service provided by the shop owner. Since my car was new, OEM parts were necessary, in some cases tariffs were applied, but the final work was extraordinarily. In all, the work was completed in 10 business days, and the owner went above and beyond to ensure I was fully satisfied with his results!!!

If you value your money, sanity and vehicle STAY AWAY!! I dropped my car off on July 2, 2018 to supposedly get worked on. A1 promised me my car would be done by the end of the week. They did nothing for 8 days while my car sat there (unknowingly by me, racking up STORAGE charges) and rental car charges . ( They are in bed with Enterprise across the street) Then on Monday July 9th, 2018 I called them and my insurance company to see what the heck was going on. On Tuesday A1 supposedly finally contacted my insurance company to get the car reevaluated .(A1 which by the way was listed as a preferred shop of MAPFRE / COMMERCE insurance and they ARE NOT ). So after 8 days of my car sitting as it was when I dropped it off, (Tuesday the 10th) my insurance company decides my car is totaled. A1 decided that my initial estimate from my insurance was LOW so he doubled the repair cost. Then he charges the insurance company almost $2,600.00 dollars for "storage" of my car. I drove my car in and should have driven my car FAR AWAY from there. Instead he takes my car apart on Wednesday morning July 9th 2018, so I couldn't drive it away. Then he either gets the car or the insurance has to pay to get it back..... SCAM ! !!! I had to fight with my insurance to pay the fee. It was because of them that I went there. It took days of course to get anywhere. Finally after commerce payed for their ridiculous storage fees I was able to pay to get my car towed away to another shop. Who by the way fixed my car in a day and a half for the price I was originally told by the insurance company. Oh and meanwhile people are writing all these great reviews during the time my car is just sitting there!!!! I had to pay for rental and tow out of there. It cost me $599.00 for 3 weeks of car rental. All of this could have been avoided! My car finally is fixed 3 weeks later. Then as I'm dropping of my rental there he is again sucking in another customer unsuspected into his lies and deception. It's just disgusting to me that they are allowed to do business like this and get away with it. THIS IS WHY INSURANCE COST SO MUCH!!!! Don't know how they sleep at night. What comes around goes around.

I had some scratches in a car I had bought not long ago and after meeting Yaw for the first time he had his guys take care of it for free. I really appreciated the generosity he had shown and the car looks amazing now. I thought the scratches were a bit too deep to be fixed without re-painting it and I almost didn't even bring it in but I'm happy I did as the door looks like glass now. Really nice work and they even touched up some paint chips that were separate without me asking and he didn't charge me a dime which is unheard of from any garage these days. This is a somewhat new owner and not the second owner who ran the shop for the last 15 years or so. I'm very happy with the service I got. Thanks to Yaw and his team!

Yaw and his team did an amazing job. They had the lowest estimate and came through with an unbelievable result in just one day. Other places wanted the car for a week and hundreds of dollars more. No reservations about recommending A-1!
