The customer service was awesome! They explained everything and was quick. The two techs were Tyler and Aiden very personal and professional. I feel like prices are a high but the economy is unstable at this time.
View on Google*UPDATE* Guys DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO TAKE 5. A week or so after my bad oil change experience it got much worse. My wife was driving the vehicle and when getting on the highway the check engine light came on and the car would not go over 35 mph. She was able to pull on the shoulder and get to the next exit. I checked the code when she got home and sent to my mechanic, he said it's probably incorrect oil filter. When I took it to the mechanic he did in fact determined the wrong oil filter was installed causing the failure. I will post pictures below. Take 5 replied to my original review asking for a call back, which I wasn't planning to do, but after this happened, literally putting my wife's life in jeopardy I decided to call. The manager (David I believe his name was) insisted they put the correct filter in and took no responsibility and very passive aggressive. I can't stress enough, DO NOT GO HERE unless you like being scammed and belittled. I don't know how they're even still in business. It's just not worth it, there are too many other options. Original Review* Pretty bad experience. Was told I could only get the $100 or $120 oil change, even though I’ve owned my car for 11 years and never been told that, not even from the dealers service dept. When I asked about why those were the only two options given I was literally told I “needed to be educated” multiple times by the manager and lady on the computer. I had a 50% off coupon but you can never actually get 50% off as their cheapest oil change is $57 and they said the max they would take off is $25. I’m just glad it was me and not my wife or daughters went to be taken advantage of. I’ve heard stories of drive-through oil changes (such as Jiffy Lube) taking advantage of people years ago, but I thought those days were behind us. Oh and they didn’t give me a sticker to track when my next oil change is.
View on GoogleI first tried Take 5 in Minot, ND. I loved their service and especially their honesty. I was a little nervous to try it in my new home state, but I was absolutely not disappointed. I was reminded I can drop in and get a top off for free, and the guys were so kind and honest. I will definitely bring our cars here again in the future.
View on GoogleThe guys there were very nice and I could tell they were enjoying themselves. The reason for the 3 star rating is they need a little guidance on professionalism. With a customer in the car in their work area they need to be a little more careful on what they talk about. They were joking with each other and giving each other a hard time which is fine, but there were a few language concerns in my opinion. Also, at one point when one guy was changing my interior air filter he said “Well, I gotta get this crap out of the way first.” Again, they were very kind, but I would like to see a focus on professionalism.
