Told Austin 2 times to replace a cooler line before truck was in his possession. Was told your truck is done come get it but it was a pain in the butt to get to the cooler line so we didnt replace it. So I have no choice but to take the truck home. Paid 2600$ for rebuilt transmission but didnt get the cooler line replaced and four miles from Austin's shop the line let's go and leaks all transmission fluid out. I call Austin and he says " what do you want me to do about it?" On my receipt it says i have a 6 months warranty, but Austin will not return any text or call now. Probably the most counterfeit automotive situation ive ever dealt with.

Started getting a terrible Shutter on my 15 Tahoe and found Austin's shop on market place he pulled, rebuilt, and installed the transmission. Got ahold of him on a Tuesday evening he got it in the next day and had it ready to go Friday morning. Easy guy to talk with and has alot of knowledge! Couldn't beat how fast he was able to get me in and complete the job! Would highly recommend very reasonable price and couldn't ask for better service!

I had my 4L80E transmission rebuilt by Austin, and within a day it was clear the rebuild was not done correctly. I immediately began having problems and dealt with a lot of stress trying to get the issue addressed. Weeks after dealing with the issue I, nor Austin figured out the problem. I couldn’t wait longer I needed my work truck. I took my truck to Midwest-Gillette Transmissions, where they inspected it and confirmed the previous rebuilder had made mistakes during the rebuild. They corrected the issues and got the transmission working properly. When I brought this to Austin’s attention, he refused to work with me on a refund and would only offer store credit, despite the faulty rebuild. Now that I need a rebuild, he ignored the prior situation and told me it would be a full charge, with no accountability for the earlier work. I expected professional workmanship and customer service after paying for a rebuild. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Make sure you get agreements on paper the times have changed be a man of your word!

I called AA Automotive and Transmission to ask about getting a transmission service on my truck. No one picked up the first time, so I called again. When “Austin” finally answered, he said, “Yeah, hello, the person who’s called twice,” right off the bat with an attitude. I told him I was trying to get a hold of them for service, and he just goes, “I’m busy.” That was enough for me. I told him never mind. If that’s how they talk to someone just calling in, I wouldn’t trust leaving my truck there. Pretty unprofessional.
