Firestone Complete Auto Care

Nice staff, bad experience, DO NOT wait in store. I was told the air conditioning broke in the lobby three weeks ago and on a hot day you will bake while waiting in the lobby. I recommend waiting in Chik-Fil-A next door because they have a pleasant waiting experience with air conditioning, food, and drink. I had an appointment at 2pm for cleaning my rear break pads and was told it would take 45min-1hour. After waiting in the lobby for an hour and a half I went to the front desk and told the staff member to call me when you are done and I went to wait inside Chik-Fil-A because I started to sweat and get a headache. After another 20 minutes of waiting in Chik-Fil-A I was called and recommended to get additional services because they did a full inspection and found other things wrong. This was professional and I am happy they did this, and this explains the long wait time. I just wish I was informed before hand. I was then told that the car would not be fixed today as it is getting late and I should pursue getting a ride home. Again, I understand the time it takes to look at the car but I was very disappointed in dropping the car off at 2pm, baking in the lobby until 3:30pm, and then at almost 4pm I’m told the car will need to stay overnight and I should find a ride home… The next day I call at noon to ask about the progress of my vehicle and I am told they are currently working on it and it will take another hour or two… after a hour and a half at 1:30pm I call them to check the progress and they are still working on it and I’m told it will take another 45min or so but it will certainly be done today. After an additional hour and a half they finally call me at 3pm saying my car is ready for pickup. So the original 45min-1hr wait time turned into 25 hours!! I ordered an uber and showed up to collect my car and pay. The staff was very polite and while I think they are professionals and good at what they do and very kind… I would not recommend this specific location. My car (as of now) appears and sounds to be running just fine so I believe and hope they did a great job! Good staff, bad experience. I would likely look elsewhere in the future.

This was my first and last time at Firestone. I came in for a simple battery replacement and tire sensor fix, originally quoted around $300. After requesting a general inspection, I was told there were additional problems, bringing the total to about $1,800. I was told I would receive an update if my car needed to stay overnight, but I never got a call. When I picked up my car, the check engine light was on. I was told it was because the car had been sitting in neutral for a long time, which is not a valid explanation. Within 3 days of driving, my car developed a loud squeaking noise over bumps and while turning, and the traction control was turning on and off randomly—issues that were not present before the service. I had to come back and wait 2 hours just to be told they installed a faulty sway bar link. I paid significantly more than expected and ended up with new problems and wasted time. This experience showed poor communication, lack of quality control, and careless workmanship. I do not trust this location and will not be returning.

These guys are fantastic, My Wife, daughter, and 3 granddaughters were pulling our camper when they had a flat tire. Jesse got them handled with new tires and had them in an out in an hour. Thank you for taking great care of my girls!!

Extremely disappointed. Even with a lifetime alignment plan, I waited over two hours without a single update while my car sat for a scheduled 12 appt.. This location consistently feels disorganized and the staff seems unsure of their own processes. My time was completely disrespected today. Avoid this branch if you can.

I had an appointment at noon for tire installation and alignment. I went to my car and had a flat. Jesse was able to move my appointment and get me in after my tow truck arrived with my vehicle. He was very friendly. They were quick to get me in and it is the cleanest car repair shop I have been in. Everyone is super friendly. They were very good about communicating with me through the whole process. I would recommend coming to this Firestone on Greenwich!
