Nice guys! Got an unexpected flat tire with my 80 year old grandma in car. These guys were busy but stopped what they were doing to help us. They also made sure granny was comfortable, so sweet. Will for sure recommend expert auto to my friends!

I recently took my 2022 GMC Sierra AT4 to Expert Auto for what I expected to be a straightforward radiator repair. I was informed the entire radiator needed replacement at a cost of $1,600, which felt extremely high, but since I needed the repair handled that day, I agreed. I chose the 13th & Meridian location specifically because Sean, who has been a reliable mechanic for years, previously ran that shop. I was disappointed to learn he no longer works there and considered taking my vehicle elsewhere, but proceeded since they assured me they could finish the job that same day. Although they completed the repair, I couldn’t pick the vehicle up until after closing and retrieved it using the key they left inside. On my drive home (approximately 20 minutes), the truck overheated due to the cooling system not being properly burped. I also needed to add nearly a full gallon of coolant the following day. I returned the vehicle on Tuesday so they could inspect their work again. They test-drove it, added more coolant, and indicated everything looked good. However, on Wednesday, after starting the truck and driving less than a block, the engine warning system advised me to shut the truck down immediately. After stopping, I discovered an oil line had become disconnected under high pressure, causing almost all the engine oil to dump onto the street. I had to tow the truck to a different mechanic, who confirmed the failure resulted from improper work done by Expert Auto. Not only did they not make the connection correctly, They were unable to install the final safety device that ensures connection made correctly because it is not able to be installed if the connection is not made correctly. They also left several hose clamps, ensuring critical supply lines remain in proper placement on top of that I added coolant, they added coolant, and then the mechanic I took it too also had to add coolant. I have and will attach photographs documenting the line disconnection. I have attempted to contact Expert Auto four separate times to request reimbursement for the tow and subsequent repair costs, and have been unable to reach the manager at the Douglas & Hydraulic location. Integrity must not be held in high regard. Since then, the truck now has a persistent burning-oil smell that did not exist before. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Expert Auto, and would go as far to say as do not take your vehicle to Expert Auto unless you want additional expense and damage to your vehicle.In my case, the work was performed incorrectly and resulted in additional damage and expense, and the company has not responded regarding reimbursement or accountability. I would strongly suggest considering other options before trusting your vehicle to this shop. They are not only overpriced. They do poor workmanship for a high price.

I had to finish the job myself. Paid about $450 in labor alone to have them install a bolt on catback exhaust. Should not have been that expensive in my opinion, it's maybe 8 bolts in total. Would have done it myself but I don't have a lift. I had to go back an install the muffler hanger correctly, only one hanger was used on either muffler, even though the muffler requires two hangers. What's funny is that the hanger is sitting there right next to the muffler un-used. Not too big of a deal, accidents happen and things get missed. It's easy enough for me to get under there and finish the job. What is worse is that it sounds like there is an exhaust leak from the cats to mid-pipe interface, so I'll have to go and install the gaskets in there myself at some point. The job requires 4 gaskets, but they only billed me for 2 and did not use the gaskets I provided. Only saving grace was that the service rep was a super nice guy.

We like to do business locally and as nearby as possible. Since we picked Expert Auto Care in our neighborhood for vehicle maintenance and repair on our three autos, we have been over 90% pleased with our results. The staff communicates well, and we feel we are getting value for our investments

I had a great experience at Expert Auto on 13th St for an oil change and inspection. Damon took care of me and his customer service was top-tier. He was super knowledgeable, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. It’s refreshing to deal with someone who is both professional and genuinely friendly. The service was quick, thorough, and fairly priced. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending them to others!
