Store was good until we got to the Rabbit/Bird section. The rabbits cages were filthy, no clean water sources, and flies were just festering. All animals deserve a clean environment especially when they’ve been taken from their natural one. One of the rabbits even appeared injured, something wrong with the back of its neck. I fear it’s common with these stores to mistreat/neglect their live animals, as even tractor supply has its animals in similar conditions. Please do better as employees to keep enclosures clean and maintain the welfare of these little guys. They can’t do anything to control their situation but you can.

Always bring our Livestock Dog here and they absolutely spoil him. The customer service is great, and the workers are always kind and helpful. We like this Rural King a lot, I probably come here 2-3 times a week. They tend to run out of fencing and some other livestock stuff we need pretty often, but given this being the only store like this around I understand they tend to sell out of certain things pretty quick.

I’d just like to say be super careful if anyone plans on getting a UTV/ATV at rural king in Martinsville We recently bought a brand new utv about 6,600 after tax Paid to have it delivered then first time using it had some crazy wacky engine noises ( not even 3 hrs after purchase ) but the worst part is we had to pay to send it back again ( we’re also gonna have to pay to get it delivered again) and after all of that they are just gonna throw it to the warranty work, absolutely insane to me how you can purchase that expensive of a vehicle and they just act like it’s normal.. no I’m sorry this happened or anything infact it actually seemed like they really didn’t believe me. so now after spending 7k or more we are left with nothing but sitting here wondering when will it be “fixed” they said labor is free but never guaranteed parts would be. Anyways sorry for the rant its just really sad to see as I really liked shopping at rural king but this is unacceptable honestly

visit Martinsville , stop there to buy things we need, friendly people, nice cashiers, we always buy deer corn , and feed turkeys corn, and we enjoy the popcorn . today we heard you were giving away a truck to one lucky winner. we could use a truck as ours is a 2004 . it is getting old .
