Ave’s Auto Repair has been nothing but fabulous. The customer service is amazing. They answer the phone every time, easy to work with, quick and are very knowledgeable. I took my 2021 Ford Explorer in for a blind spot and cross traffic sensory going off like crazy. Took it to Bill Estes Ford first and all the tech did was clear the code and said that the system must have glitched during an update. Despite Ford being able to see that my car sensory had been going off for over 60days. When I picked my vehicle up from Ford the sensory started going off 2 hours later. When I called Ford and asked if they looked at the wiring or physical sensory by pulling off the bumper they said “no the data didn’t send them there” So I decided to call Ave’s and spoke with the Owner Ave told him want was going on and he said he would have Mike his electrician look at it and he wouldn’t charge us if he doesn’t find anything. Took the vehicle in and two hours later we got a phone call confirming it was indeed the sensory it self and we discussed our option for aftermarket part or OEM part. We decided on aftermarket part. Ave called me back and said it was going to take over a week to come and since he knew we needed our vehicle he said he would get the part from Ford and just charge us what ford charges them. So that way he didn’t have to the vehicle back together and us come picked it up and drop it off again and tear it back down. My experience with this shop has been nothing but a breeze. Very trust worthy owner and shop, honest and very knowledgeable about diagnostic. Would highly recommend this shop.

This place is dishonest. Yeah they fixed my car… but charged me 1,700 for an aftermarket catalytic converter. As soon I started asking questions they turned aggressive, mind you I was super calm. When asked about the core charge they said they weren’t getting one. I asked to have the old converter and they said they couldn’t give it to me because of regulations, which I understand. They said legally they have to scrap it. I asked how much the scrap price would be and they said they might get $25 out of it. Even though the Internet suggests a $100-$300 scrap value. I asked to reduce the bill by $25, since that’s what they said the scrap value of my old converter was, they wouldn’t oblige me. No itemized receipt, no warranty. I don’t even know the brand of parts they put in my car. I learned a lot from my experience here… won’t make those mistakes again. Definitely won’t be back, will never recommend them. My advice would be to steer clear of this place. Update*** Got the car home. The next time I turned it on, it died. Let it sit for a sec then tried again.. it died again. Idk what to do. Just over paid for one problem and now I have another. Also, I noticed they didn’t replace any of the splash guard rivets… it’s just bouncing around. Aves is trash.

YES BIG SHOUT OUT TO AVES AND THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH BRAD. He went above and beyond his duties to assist me with my truck. Out of 5 mechanics that I called? He was the most genuine and real person. I didn't feel like because I'm a female that he was talking down to me or over charging me. He stayed in constant communication with me about my truck.
