These guys have been making my life easier since I moved to Warrenville. The absolute best experience I have ever had with any mechanics. They have helped me and everyone I know who needs a master mechanic. I once saw a car with two young girls whose tires had shredded coming back from a festival broken down. Voegtles stopped what they were doing in order to get these girls back on the road and head safely home. They rebuilt my father in law’s Antique Thunderbird giving him joy shortly before he passed. This place is more than just a repair shop! This place is family!

Intelligence and integrity is what you will find here. I couldn’t be more pleased with Voegtles! After my car went into limp mode the dealer told me I needed a new transmission for $9000, something felt off and it didn’t add up. I talked to a friend who said he had been going to Voegtles for 29 years and had complete trust in them, I’m glad I listened to him. These guys spent the time to really figure out what was going on and found a worn out wire they were able to replace, which completely resolved my issue for $300. I’m so glad I took my car here as the dealer was so full of crap and would have totaled my car. I got the sense these guys know what they are doing (much more than a dealer) and they saved me when I’m in a very tough financial spot and need a car. I’m super grateful to them. If you are looking for a mechanic who 1.) has rock solid integrity and 2.) actually knows what they are doing. Voegtles is the place to go. Wish I could give 10 stars!

I can’t say enough great things about Voegtle's Auto Service! From the moment I walked in, the team was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to clearly explain what was going on with my vehicle, gave me an honest estimate, and never once made me feel pressured into unnecessary repairs. The work was completed quickly and at a fair price, and my car has been running perfectly ever since. Voegtle’s is honest and does good work. And I really appreciate them squeezing me in on short notice before the holidays. I originally took my car to a place that told me I needed a $3,100 brake job (they knocked it down to $2,900 after I swallowed my tongue) and a $500 battery replacement and reprogram because it failed their tests. They said the brakes had severe uneven wear (later confirmed by Voegtle’s) and needed two new calipers at $750 each, leaving $1,600 for the brake replacement. The phone call was clearly a sales pitch and they used my car seat in the back to use safety as a predatory scare tactic. I brought my car to Voegtle’s because my dad has been coming here for 25 years and they have always been fair and never recommend something that isn’t needed. My battery was perfectly fine and they saw no reason to replace my calipers as they were functioning appropriately. Additionally, the brake job was only $700 as opposed to $1,600 the other shop wanted excluding calipers. I’ll come back in a year to make sure the brakes are wearing appropriately and take it from there.

Voetgel is the best. Have been going to them with all my cars over the years and and find them honest, capable and courteous. Most highly recommend them for all your automobile repair needs.
