Took my class for service to intake manifold gasket replacement with estimate of 5 hrs labor at roughly $1k. Was told it needed extra cleaning to the manifold which would be another estimated 5hrs labor. Was then told that the installer cracked the manifold while installing it and I would have to buy another part and pay labor for damage caused by them. After I got the part and it was installed, I was told that the factory set Holly carburetor needed to be adjusted to stop it from backfiring, which never happened before this service, and that it would take more hours of labor and additional cost. After about 3 weeks and almost $3k car runs like crap with all new parts. Scammers.

I have an older 2001 Caravan, brought it in for service for a leaking gas tank. They kept it for almost a month. Finally they told me they ordered the part, not sure when it will arrive, come pick up van and drive it until then. It's been almost 3 months and nothing.. Anytime I call for an update, I don't get a return call. Nothing. Shannon in sales is awesome. She jumped hoops working with me but as far as their service department goes, I highly recommend you go anywhere else. 3 months have passed and they never reached out and left me in limbo. I finally found a shop to do the repair for $350 when Bettenhausen quoted me $980 originally. Not to mention, the part they claimed was bad is actually fine and it was a simple seal at filler that needed replacing. I'll be buying a new mobility van in around 8 months (those range around $85,000). Taking my money and business to Mobility Works. If these last 3 months are an indication of how the service department takes care of customers, I'll gladly buy from anywhere else. Such a shame. Bettenhausen has a black Traverse in stock which is what I'm in the market for but they never even apologized for the run around they gave me.
