Orland Toyota Service

I had a great experience getting my car serviced at Toyota in Orland Park on 159th, and I want to give a big shoutout to Omar! Even though he seemed incredibly busy (almost like he was the only one working), he was super helpful and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Omar made sure I got in and out quickly and ensured my car was running perfectly. His professionalism and dedication really stood out. If you’re getting your car serviced here, ask for Omar – he’s the best! Thanks again for the great service! Also for sales you have to see Sam! Amazing guy honest this is the secound vehicle I brought from him now.

I genuinely had the strangest encounter of my life at this dealership for service. I have always trusted dealers but will not return or recommend this location to anyone. I brought my car in for warranty service which I told the woman on the phone when I scheduled the initial appt. she said no problem. My husband dropped it off and thought that Tony our assigned service person was pretty strange. He was dismissive of our warranty and said nothing would likely be covered. My husband said ok can we try? After having our car they were able to get one of the issues covered which was great. In addition to that, we had rear pads, rotors, oil change and two bulbs replaced. This totaled 1040$. That included a 90$ diagnostic fee for something we didn’t move forward with. I never argued or was anything but appreciative for the service throughout the process. I picked the truck up yesterday and I met Tony and I also found his demeanor to be sort of strange. He didn’t go through my invoice at all and was acting sort of strange. Never had that experience at a dealer before. Also, when I was looking over my receipt after I paid he very rudely asked is there an issue? No dude, I’m just checking the invoice that you didn’t go thru with me. My husband drove the truck today to work and said the steering wheel was vigorously shaking when braking at higher speeds. I called Tony back and he immediately cut me off and said well it say two days in the rain it could be rust on the rotors. I said no I am sure this is more than that it’s also getting worse so we’d like you o bring it back in. It just felt like I was a major inconvenience to Tony and I don’t know why. I’m not sure if he was being judgmental of us or what was going on. He then said well I’ll see if we can get you an appt to bring it back in and I said I’d have my husband f call back. When my husband brought it back in he said Tony was acting strange again and was trying to dispute his attitude toward me. Then Tony went and got the manager and told the manager we requested a new adviser(untrue). After checking the car again they called back and said there was an issue with the front brakes I had done just over a year ago but as a one time courtesy they fixed it for us. I need to stress there is as no issue with the shaking prior to bringing this car in. I feel like I was lied to for no good reason and I don’t know why. Additionally the service manager said to my husband they haven’t had complaints about Tony before but I can see by reading these reviews that is not true. I don’t know what Tony did not like us for but I guess he made his mind us about us from the start. It sucks we just moved to the area and we have a Toyota as well as my dad and brother and sister and we were in the market for a new Highlander and I just can’t in good conscience recommend this dealer to anyone. That’s the end of my experience and at the end of the day the truck is running fine and hopefully will continue to do so. As someone who provides services for patients I just can’t make sense of any of this behavior though.

Cannot recommend this service department. They took advantage of a single female. Took my car in for brake work. My car had less than 50,000 miles on it. They said I needed new brakes AND rotors. Never discussed cheaper options. I 'd just had my brakes looked at a few months before and received a good report. I asked another company why I needed new rotors and they told me I should NOT have needed rotors since the pads were not even completely worn down! Orland Toyota has not returned phone calls, wouldn't honor their own coupons, and offered a payment plan then wouldn't allow me to use it. When I did get a phone call the man was rude and demeaning.

I was Quoted 1800 for replacing 2 wheel bearings. Parts were 700 and labor was 1100. Called 3 different Toyota dealerships and was given an estimates not more than 1100. I was told the service manager would call me back by the end of day, but never got a phone call. I ended up going to Mike more Miles and paid 750 total. Shame on you Orland Toyota for being so dishonest. My father and I are purchasing new Toyotas this year and we will be purchasing from Oak Lawn Toyota which was has a much more honest service department.

Second time coming here for a oil change under the toyota care. It is abysmal. I made in appointment 2 weeks in advance and still had to wait almost 3 hours. I am watching people come and go but I am still sitting here. I was told 30 minutes ago that it would only be 15 more minutes. The only thing I can think of is they do not prioritize the toyota care customers because it is not new revenue. Needless to say I won't be back.
