Recently, I had used the services of KS Truck Repair to replace a bad transmission on my Volvo truck. The shop owner is honestly accommodating, helpful and compassionate about helping truckers get back on the road. The technicians are knowledgeable and competent with complex mechanical repairs. Highly recommend these guys.

View on GoogleI recently purchased a Volvo from Craigslist and when I purchased it the previous owner highly recommended this shop however I was used to going to a shop in alsip that I was more familiar with. I decided to go to KS truck repair for the oil change and service since they worked on this truck for years they did a good job not only took me in without an appointment but the service was excellent. They took care of the work without getting the inside filthy and got me in and out within 2 hours. About a month later i had to have it towed back to them because it ran low in diesel and I couldn't get it started for days I finally broke down and had it towed to them and he got it started within 30 minutes of the tow company dropping it off. I was told once it attempted to start while running I needed to use the primer pump and get the air out the system. 4 days down and he got it going in 30 minutes but the best part was he didn't charge me a dime he was more upset that I paid for a tow and wouldn't take even lunch from me...I've been in business for close to 20 years and this has to be the first time a shop was actually honest and didn't take advantage of me. He could have made up anything and I would have been happy just to get my truck back. I now take all my trucks to them and nowhere else.
