Tim and his crew went above and beyond to take care of my car. Instead of rushing through things, he took the time to clearly explain what was happening, why the issue occurred, and what my repair options were. He walked me through the costs and parts so there were no surprises, which I really appreciated. The service was honest, thorough, and fairly priced. After the engine replacement, my 2014 vehicle feels completely refreshed and drives like it just rolled off the lot. It’s rare to find a shop that combines skill, transparency, and genuine care for customers, but Tim’s team truly delivers on all fronts.

Another first class experience having my car serviced today. Tech Jason handed the lube service, and tire rotation perfectly. Senior Mechanic John stepped-in for the underside safety and brake inspections. I was extremely happy my 2011 Toyota Corolla, with 151k miles, needed nothing but what I went in for originally. I have used this shop for 20+ years. I continue to come here because the work is done correctly, and with good quality name brand, and OE parts. I like that the shop area is clean and well equipped. The owner is a Master Mechanic, and well familiar with just about any car or light truck on the road today, as well as older models and classic cars. He is on site daily to oversee operations, as well as handle some of the more complex diagnostic and mechanical work. Motortechs of Orland Park is highly recommend as your regular mechanical shop. It is my opinion, Motortechs surpasses car dealership service departments’, Additionally, they offer the best price in the area for oil and lube service. Easy access with ample parking.

This shop is truly amazing. I was recommended by a friend and I will be telling others to come here! Tim and his crew were professional, QUICK, very reasonably priced. I also called on a Friday at 2pm, expecting to get an appointment the following week and he fixed my car within 2 hours. What a guy. Great place and will be returning!!!!

Tim and team is the absolute best in the business. I had an issue with my Volvo s60 that only him and team was able to fix. My car was in the care of 3 other mechanic shops prior to me bringing to motor techs and not only were they able to fix the issue but also not rob me blind with a ridiculous invoice considering all the work they did. Will only take my cars to motor techs in the future. Thank you tim!

11/3/22: Broke the bank today and got a complete brake system overhaul. Calipers, rotors, and pads and 100K mile tuneup as recommended. Rides like new and found and eliminated an annoying thumping noise. Good for at least another 100K miles. Had thoughts of replacing this vehicle but it looks and rides better than when new. The Tim crew did an amazing job. We upgraded all the parts to remove any worry of parts failure. It was totally worth it. The spouse was happy. That’s what’s most important. Original Post I haven’t had any work done here yet but I’m planning to in the near future. I really appreciate a clean workshop. Tim is kind enough to make time to offer suggestions on repairs and maintenance. I’m confident it will be a good experience.
