Costco Tire Service Center

I bought new tires and during installation a wheel cover was accidently broken. I didn't think it was a big deal at the moment. When it was time for a tire rotation I brought it in and waited twice as long as they told me. After driving home all my brake fluid leaked out causing my dashboard to light up. I took it to my trusted mechanic and he explained how someone damaged the brake hose. I had to pay to have it repaired, made a claim and was told it would be resolved in 5-7 days. No reply, so after a week I reached out again. They sent me an email with the wrong customer name and provided a phone number to call. After several attempts to talk to someone and only receiving a "voicemail box is full" recording, an angry person finally answered and yelled that I have the wrong number. When I looked up the claim adjuster and figured out the correct number to call, not the one they gave me, I called and learned that nearly two months later, they denied the claim.

Very poor customer service. In the past I was told they couldn’t do a rotation because they couldn’t get the “frozen” lug nuts off. I ordered new ones from Amazon, and my nephew removed the old lug nuts without a problem. Today I was scheduled for a rotation. After making the appt, I had a flat that couldn’t be repaired. I did as they instupructed and made the extra trip out there so they could measure the tread. Today I showed up a few minutes before the appt, and requested that they put the spare tire in the wheel well. 90 minutes later I read a call my car was ready.2 minutes after that I received a call that they hadn’t noticed I was scheduled for a tire rotation, and they’d have it ready in 15 minutes . 70 minutes later I get my car and each tire is 2 lbs under the recommended psi…it’s winter….why wouldn’t they fill it to the correct psi? I asked if the spare was in the wheel well, and they’d have it said yes…but on arriving home, it’s just in the back, not in the well. Someone needs to take control of this dept.

I made an appointment to change tires on the car, arrived by appointment, I waited about two hours for all 4 tires to be changed, to be honest, they broke my tire pressure sensor when replacing tires, said that in half an hour everything would work, as a result, I arrived the next day and showed that nothing works and the tire pressure sensor does not show, they said that they were to blame and will repair it, but I’ve been waiting for more than 10 days for them to repair my car, I already came more than once and talked to the manager, she said that the sensors were supposedly hardened but I think so, they didn’t order anything, I want to say that when you pick up your car, inspect the wheels and tires so that there are no problems. I think the employee does not work quality or does not want to work conscientiously, I really wish that it was them that I came to replace tires, while I bought expensive tires called Michelin. Be careful and take care of yourself, friends. I don’t advise you to make your own car here, the quality of service is very low 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Truly a disgrace to the Costco brand. Had an appointment and they didn't even start to work on my car 2.5h after my appointment. I ordered 4 brand new tires. Then they told me they would have to void the warranty because I didn't select to mount run flat tires even though my car doesn't require run flats. What a joke of a tire shop, will go to a real tire shop next time. Firestone mounted my tires on a different vehicle within 1 hour...

On 10/2, I had a 2:30 PM appointment for a tire inspection and road-hazard repair. My car wasn’t on the lift until 4:30 PM. An hour and a half later, I was told the tires weren’t in stock and would need to be ordered. No problem — I came back once the new tires arrived (I even rented a car so I’d have transportation), only to find out Costco had ordered the wrong tires. After another hour spent fixing that mistake and ordering the correct ones, I again left Costco with no tires installed. A manager later reached out after hearing about the issue. I explained what happened, but there was no follow-up. I eventually had to call back five days later to check on the order myself. Since no one at the tire center was answering, I had to go through a warehouse manager just to be connected. When I finally reached someone, I asked to simply pick up the tires and take them elsewhere for installation. That required yet another transfer to a manager for approval. When I arrived to pick them up, I loaded the tires into my car — only to find out I’d been given the wrong tires again. I was offered a small gift card for my trouble, but it doesn’t begin to cover the time and aggravation I’ve spent trying to get warranty service through Costco Tire. Needless to say, I’ll never use Costco Tire again.
