I’m honestly so grateful for H&I Automotive. After my car was in an accident, it started making an extremely loud noise and the whole car would vibrate, including the steering wheel. It was so uncomfortable to drive. I went to two other shops and both told me the car was basically unfixable and that I’d just have to live with it. And one of the places told me that it could be the strut mount but they can’t do anything about it. H&I Automotive was the only place that actually took the time to really figure out what was wrong. He spent hours diagnosing the issue and found out it was actually an engine mount problem. You can tell he genuinely cares about his work and helping his customers. My car now drives smoothly again, and I’m beyond grateful. Every time I go here I can tell that he truly cares for his work. He is a honest, knowledgeable, and passionate. I highly recommend H&I Automotive!

Ford service center couldn’t find the cause of the problem but he was able to find the cause of the problem and fix it on the same day. I've been to this shop for over 2 years, but I've never had a problem. Highly recommended 👍

Great shop and trustworthy owner. They do a Great job to make sure everything is done properly. Very easy to work with. I highly recommend it. I drive 30+ mile to get my work done.

Glad I found this place. Seems to be a sole proprietorship in the very busy auto mall at IL-83 and US-45 in Long Grove. Made an appointment to get my brakes done. Shop was very clean, service was fast, owner very professional. He speaks Korean, but his English is also fine. Prices were very reasonable and definitely lower than the dealership. The best part for me was that he texted me pictures of the vehicle on the list, old and new brake pads and rotors side by side, and brake fluid after he finished the service to let me know the car was ready to pick up. Every shop should do this! He also has a 12k mile / 1 year warranty on parts and service listed on the invoice. Highly recommend and will be back for all the service needs on my Honda.

Trustworthy mechanic who offers reasonable prices. He provided quick service and did a thorough job. So glad to have found this shop.
