We always come here for our car needs. They always do a wonderful job. Today was just an oil change but we also have done new tires and work on our daughter’s car. We recommend CB to our friends and family as well!

This was the place we took our cars to and never had an issue. That changed with our last visit. Recently my daughter took her Veloster in for a check engine and possible emissions leak. Same symptoms from a year ago. Last year we were told the hardware came loose that connects the turbo to the exhaust..."never seen that before" is what we were told by the experts. So we paid for them to replace hardware and hook the turbo back up to the exhaust which was why it was leaking. Guess what is leaking again..the turbo where it connects to the exhaust. When I mentioned they just worked on the turbo a year ago and it has a warranty they told me the turbo needs to be replaced but because of a "different issue" causing the leak the warranty does not apply. I was sceptical to say the least so paid the $170 for yet another diagnostic and took it to a second shop we heard a lot of good things about. They did an indepth inspection for free and they said it is the hardware that connects the turbo to the exhaust that is failing, some of the bolts appear stripped and it is leaking where the turbo meets the exhaust. The turbo may be able to be saved if not damaged but won't know until they take it down and see if it was damaged by the hardware....interesting I am no expert but that sounds like it should be covered under the original repair warranty yet I am told it is not and it will cost $3000 for a new turbo and once again new hardware to connect it to the exhaust. Should you wish to stand by your warranty and work as you state in some of your replies on your reviews please reach out to us. Otherwise it looks like we will have to save up and pay another expert to fix the work and hope they stand by theirs.

Not the cheapest shop for sure, but not the most expensive and definitely cheaper than a dealership. For simple work that I cannot do myself, I go to a local autoshop. But for anything that requires detailed diagnostics or would be more expensive work, I go here. The 3 year/36k mile warrantee on all their labor makes it worth the extra price for that extra piece of mind. On top of that, like others have mentioned, they staff are all friendly, professional and really good at communicating with you.

Today I brought my 2019 Ford Escape into Christian Brother's Automotive because I needed to find out if the Ford dealership in Orland was being truthful in regards to my needing new pads and rotors. I went to CB because I always drive by the shop and it looks so clean and professional I was curious. The Google reviews were outstanding also. They were able to inspect my vehicle right then and am I glad I took it to CB. They informed me (with detailed e-mail report including pictures) that my brakes were fine and had plenty of life still in them. They said they can do all the work a dealership can do including service contract work. Because of their honesty, I will be having all the maintenance on my Ford completed at CB from now on. They also provide shuttle service. Thank you to Joe and Pete for being so friendly and professional and explaining my brake's condition to me.

I would like to take a moment in this special time of the year to say how great full & THANKFULL I'M FOR THE ENTIRE TEAM HERE AT C.B.A in Lockport. They went above and beyond to get me back in the road. I needed new breaks and they made sure I was able to get back on the road. The entire team is awesome I truly appreciate it I'm so happy I made that phone call. Not only did they helped me with my car but also gave me a ride back home with their shuttle service.
