Quality: He took the car back and fixed the issues to a high standard. Service: He was professional and transparent throughout the recovery process. Fairness: He provided a gift card to cover the extra costs we had previously been charged. It’s rare to see a manager work this hard to fix a mistake. Because of Jesse’s efforts, we’ve updated our rating and left the shop feeling satisfied with the final result 3 week ago : We had an incredibly disappointing experience at Crash Champions Libertyville. What started as a $1,168 estimate and a 5-day timeline spiraled into a final bill of $6,023 and took nearly two weeks. The "process" here felt highly deceptive: - Price Gouging: After stripping the car, the price jumped to over $4,500. By the end, it was over $6,000. - Unethical Signing: They directed me to sign for "open-ended" cost approvals without explaining that I had other options, which felt like a deliberate move to hike the price without further permission. - Poor Workmanship: The final $1,500 increase was actually to fix a rear lamp and bumper they broke while working on the car—and they passed that cost on to me! - Poor Results: The car is not back to its original state. The interior cabin noise is significantly louder than before the repair, suggesting the job wasn't done correctly. We feel low-balled just to get us in the door. We would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for honest, professional bodywork.

Unfortunately, I’m very disappointed with the service. I had my front bumper repaired here, and it was mounted incorrectly from underneath (see photos). On top of that, after they cleaned the car, it was sprayed with some chemical that left noticeable stains on the surface. I expected professional and careful work, but instead received careless treatment. Now I have to spend additional time and money to fix these mistakes. I cannot recommend this shop, as the quality of their work is far below expectations.

I brought my car here after a minor accident because my insurance company required a diagnostic and estimate. It should have been a simple visit, but it ended up being extremely frustrating. The first thing I noticed when I got my car back was that my front left fog light was no longer working. It had been working perfectly fine before I dropped the car off. Then I saw white smudges across the exterior of the car. These were not just fingerprints but streaky white marks across multiple panels. Even after it rained later that day, the smudges did not come off either. The worst part was noticing that the front lip of my bumper now has a visible chip in it, something that absolutely was not there before the visit. It looks like the edge got scraped or bumped while the car was being moved. I came here for a simple insurance estimate after a minor accident and left with new problems that did not exist before. Between the fog light issue, the smudges across the paint, and the chipped bumper lip, it is clear my car was not handled carefully. Because of this experience, I would not advise coming here for any reason.

Enlightening, honest stopped in to get a quote on my car. They immediately informed me they could not work on it because they were not certified. I had received a quote from another company that was not certified either, but was willing to quote me even though they knew they did not have the certification. Something I had not heard before & wasn't aware of.

Went here about a year ago when my car got hit by someone. Only chose this shop because Allstate said I had to. They seemed promising at first because they assured me they would contact me regarding my vehicle's condition and reach out to other shops if they couldn't complete it by the date they said. Well, that was a lie. I know they were understaffed, but they didn't even reach out to me to say it would take a while. I was left unsure and upset. The mechanics completely ripped my seat covers (new at the time) instead of just taking them off. There were boot prints all over the seat covers and interior. Then, unknown to me, they declared my car a total loss. Neither them nor Allstate reached out and both blamed the other. I had to call to find out what was going on when I noticed the tracker said it had exceeded funding. The singular woman who handled every phone call at the time sounded stressed, told me very nonchalantly that it was totaled and they were waiting on the insurance, and then was shocked that I didn't know my car was a total loss. Mind you, this was over the course of almost two months. Just went to a different shop for a different accident and they reached out nearly every other day. I'm very frustrated about my seat covers having been ripped and have yet to repair them. They also didn't give me back my license plate cover initially when I recovered the plate? I had to explicitly ask for that back as well because the mechanic just kept it. Finally, the woman who initially handled the front desk told me she didn't think I could get a loaner vehicle because I was underage which was wrong, so I just went without a car for almost the whole process for no reason. Overall frustrating experience that I've yet to fully get over. Again, this was a while ago so I'm hoping they're a much better shop now.
