PLEASE AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!!! One of the worst dealership and service experiences I have ever had. I purchased a Toyota with only about 11,000 miles, sold as Gold Certified. After the purchase, I found multiple issues with the vehicle, including the door panel, door handle, and safe/lockbox. Over the course of about a month, after approximately five visits, multiple calls, a complaint to Toyota corporate, and a negative review, they only managed to replace one small plastic part. I was told by the dealership and service department that the parts had arrived and that I could come in for the repair. I have screenshots (uploaded them), call records, voicemails, and other evidence confirming this. I came in and waited more than three hours, only to be told that the parts had not actually arrived. Before that, they also misdiagnosed the issues, ordered wrong parts, and wasted a lot of my time. Even worse, some service work was marked as completed in their system, but the work was not actually performed. That is extremely concerning. I would also strongly warn customers to be very careful with the finance department, especially with finance manager Kiarnan McLaughlin. Based on my personal experience with him and this dealership, and based on the evidence I have, I believe additional warranty/products were presented to me in a misleading way, pushed onto me, and then not properly cancelled after I requested cancellation. I have written proof that I requested the cancellation and provided the required information, but the products were still not cancelled properly. In my opinion, this is not honest or transparent customer treatment. Customers should carefully review every document, every added product, every fee, every warranty, and every cancellation policy before signing anything with this dealership. I have screenshots, call records, voicemails, photos, and documents supporting my experience. Based on what happened to me, I do not trust this dealership, their service department, or their finance department. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I will just upload evidence with Service department about parts. Just do not want put everything for now here. Will be in next post.

The service advisor at Libertyville Toyota was very helpful in getting my car checked out and letting me know about some future maintenance that will be needed. The process of having info sent via text with a link to a video explaining what was found by the service technician was good. That, combined with additional info from the service advisor helped me understand the condition of my 2009 RAV4. The car is getting up in years, but still runs great and is worth keeping for now.

I’ve consistently received outstanding service from this team, no matter the situation—routine maintenance, battery concerns, or even recalls on my Toyota RAV4. They truly take care of everything. Recently, I had another exceptional experience when my battery started acting up. I booked an appointment and was able to get in the same day. They inspected the battery and replaced it completely at no cost, exactly as they promised six years ago when I purchased the lifetime battery warranty. All it took was my signature—just like the first time they honored the warranty and replaced the battery for free.
