Brought my Silverado 2500 in for the muffler to be replaced. This experience was extremely frustrating and became a waste of time and money. I remain a very unsatisfied customer who lost confidence that this shop had the skill to provide even adequate service. The muffler chosen by the team at Meineke was substituted and not listed as a match for the vehicle. The new pieces of exhaust pipe added to the system were not stainless steel as in the original system, the inlets and outlets of the muffler were largely oversized and not bushed down but hammered over with very uneven infill welding. The tailpipe was raised up to touch and rub on the rear fender. The new muffler was hung ~ 4inches lower to the ground than the previous muffler. The pipes in front of the muffler were allowed to twist and then welded permanently in that orientation. When I was to pick up the completed truck I immediately let them know the work was unacceptable but they would not release the keys back to me unless I would pay in full. After an hour of them trying to negotiate and finally saying if I would obtain the correct muffler and bring it to them they would redo the installation. I agreed and brought the correct muffler back with the truck to drop off when they told me I would need to obtain a list of all the other parts required to correct their poor workmanship. After that I decided to cut my loses with such an incapable and untrustworthy shop. Please see photos below. If only negative stars could be given.

The boss don’t want to take care of my service. Poorly service for communication with a deaf customer like me so please don’t even bother to come here. It’s a ZERO stars service here.
