HEART Evanston has to be one of the most professional, friendly, and customer service-focused automotive shops I’ve ever been to. Keisha is so nice and Ernie & his team are good communicators-I like how they explain the service that they recommend by also showing photos. They never pressure me to have work done or try to over-sell. I have been taking all our family’s cars to HEART for over 5 years and highly recommend them!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Demitri and Keesha at the front desk, who were absolutely fantastic. They were warm, organized, and incredibly helpful, making the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. Their communication was clear, and they made sure I understood exactly what was being done and why—something that immediately built trust. I came in needing multiple services, including fixing my back hitch, getting an oil change, and replacing all four tires. Everything was handled efficiently, and the pricing was very fair, especially considering the level of service and attention to detail provided. If this review was solely based on Sam and Keisha, I would give it 5 stars. But this place is a money gouger. In the last year I’ve spent over 7k getting my car fixed and each time to tell me this is the last big repair. My most recent experience I came in for tire and steering sensors to be replaced. I was quoted 1700. They only fixed the steering on each tire but not the tires sensors. After I came to pick up my car, I had 3 unplugged fuses. After I asked why they were unplugged, they denied doing such thing, as the car was in their possession for 3 days. I said can I come back to have the tires sensor done, demitri told me there would be additional labor costs! I was then told, well we gave you a break on the fog light so we will have to charge for labor. As I should be grateful they changed a 5 dollar lightbulb after spending 1700 dollars. I’ve been going here for many years with both mine and my wife’s car. I will absolutely not be back. In fact I will highly advise people to NOT take their cars here if someone is looking for a mechanic. I rarely write reviews, this is experience has driven me crazy.

Known them for more than 6years, very reliable and honest. They are good in what the do, they handle your car profesionally. If they cant fix your car they wont bother taking money from you. They do really good job here, a trial will convince you.

Friendly, thorough and did a great job so my car can last me for many years to come. It is sometimes hard to find an appointment quickly but that’s a sign of a good shop and worth the wait. Highly recommend.
