I took my vehicle in to change a part. The amount of time for my vehicle to be ready kept changing. No big deal. I told them I had no problem with them keeping it longer if needed, I just needed to know to make arrangements. It's finally ready Friday at the end of the day. I go to pick it up, and they are still working on it. They keep telling me just a little bit longer, they are cleaning things up. The person at the front lets me know he has to leave. Before he leaves, he talks to the mechanics. Then he comes back to me and asks if my check engine light was on when I came in. I told him it wasn't, it had come on once previously but went away. He then tells the mechanics, yes it's fine, the light was on. I'm confused because that is not what I said. The guy takes off, the mechanics take the car down and sure enough the light is on. I ask them if it's ok to drive. They are hesitant to say anything. I ask what codes come up and they tell me. I ask if I should leave the car and they tell me they don't know. So I'm stuck trying to decide what to do. I drive it home because I didn't want to leave it. Throughout the two weeks after, the light still doesn't go off. Now I notice my oil level is dropping significantly to the point where I have to add two quarts. I take it back. They tell me they didn't connect a line properly when doing the repair so that caused the oil leak. They tell me the lights are still on but the codes aren't related to the repair they did. I ask what the codes are. They said they will have to do a diagnostic for that and they would have to charge me. So you know the codes aren't related to what you did, but you don't know what the codes are without charging me another $189? At this point I'm not going to argue with them because I don't want them messing anything else up. They already caused some kind of issue with my engine and luckily I was checking the oil regularly so their mistake didn't end up blowing my entire motor. Awful customer service and quality of work. Oh and also for them supposedly cleaning- my dad spent two hours cleaning the engine and sensors because they didn't do any of that. Update: when I picked up the vehicle, the check engine light was no longer on so it was completely caused by their mistake. They didn't inform me of that change at any point nor offer any sort of apology for the problem. Think twice before you bring your vehicle here.
