A very good and quick service was provided by the team at Pomp's Tire Service. It was not scheduled service but it got done the same day and they even drove me to work and back during the time my car was being fixed. Very kind and helpful. I recommended if you need to have service done in Elgin area.

View on GoogleI paid a visit to this business early this morning due to a large staple I had lodged in my back tire. The reviews drew me to this location. Upon entering customer service was nonexistent. I explained to the man at the counter of my issue. He came to my vehicle to examine the tire. He tells me it’s not something that can be patched and I would need to purchase a new tire. We went back inside. He did some research to be sure he had the tire and tells me the price would be $190 for ONE tire. I thanked him and left. About an hour ago I went to another place of business and was told, “no problem. We’ll have this ready for you in less than 30 minutes.” I made sure to ask, “can this be patched?” To which I was given the response above. I saved $170. This is a reminder to shop around before you choose the very first place of business just because of their reviews. I would share the name of the person sitting at the desk but as I mentioned in the beginning, customer service was nonexistent.
